It's in the heart of London, and the Euro offered great value for that privilege. From this vantage location, one could do a self-planned (4 to 6 hr)walking tour, circling through Regent's Park, Madam Tussaud's, Hyde Park, Buckingham palace, Pall Mall, Trafalgar square, Piccadilly So might go out for drink Nothing , Oxford Circus, Soho, having cafe desserts, Indian & Chinese delicacies and a pint or 2 along the way.

Warn guests that there is no elevator. Fortunately I had only a small suitcase, but people with large suitcases may have to negotiate 50+ steps up on a narrow and steep staircase.

Clean hotel and friendly staff.

Pros: Cleanliness and friendly staff.
Cons: Creaking of the floors.
Location: Located very close to Euston Station, St. Pancras and Kingscross. Also, the Hop-on/Hop-off tour bus stops at 2 of those stations as well.
I chose this location based on it's closeness to the train station and affordability. It does seem to be a charming place with friendly staff, a clean room and a very good free breakfast. I booked a "suite" for four that looked very nice and roomy... in the picture. We didn't get that one. But, we did experience something new. 4 people w/5 pieces of luggage cramped in a not-so-roomy "suite" in the "basement", made for a few interesting nights. ;-) Because we were in the basement, we could hear every step on the floors and up the stairs. That is truly my only complaint.
