This is a great getaway for a couple or a small group who would like to fish and relax lakeside. This home is located on 18 acres with access to a volleyball court, swimming area, fishing pier, and boat ramp just footsteps away.

Acapulco's Hideaway is a cottage with a full bathroom. It has an open kitchen and den area. The kitchen comes complete with utensils, cookware, and small appliances. The cottage has two queen beds and one full futon. You will have a covered porch with patio furniture and gas grill. The nearest grocery store is about 15-20 minutes away.

It's a rough hewn cabin in the middle of a fish camp full of run down trailers. Bed and seating all hard as a rock. TV is tiny. Toilet is almost sitting on the floor. No tub. We booked a week an left after 1 night. Lost a chunk of money, but it was that awful.

I booked this rental for me and my 11 year old son. We fished all day Friday and got back to the house at 4pm to check in. When we arrived, the person cleaning the house had just shown up and said check in would not be ready until 6pm! I put in at the ramp at the house and no cars were there so it was unoccupied all day. When I attempted to contact the owner or local manager and NEVER even got a phone call. They offered me a late check out but that does me no good as I would be fishing with my son for the next day. I asked for some sort of refund of the cleaning fee, which is outrageously high, to be told this was not an option. No other sort of compensation for my son and my time having to sit and wait after fishing for 8 hours. In regards to the cleaning fee, this place is 1 room and a bathroom. They told me the cleaning lady finished at 4:45pm but I was not notified of this either. With this TINY cottage taking a max of 45 minutes to clean, what in the world are they charging such a high cleaning fee for?! I will never stay here again and will urge all of those I fish with to do the same.

The description is misleading, 18 acres of mostly old tired rv's with clutter and storage hangers for boats. Yes there is A boat ramp. The cabin looks nice enough from the outside, but inside you find a place that looks like it was built with scraps of materials from previous construction sites and places that were being torn down and items to be reused. Like the shower, bathroom sink and fixtures. Cabinets and doors cut from plywood, that didn't close or open easily. Furnished with an old beat up sofa/futon. And a miss matched array of furnishings. A tiny tv that was hard to see from anyplace except standing right in front of it. No screens on the windows. Beat up pots and pans, a gigantic microwave that takes up most of what little workspace there is in the kitchen. But the worst of it all, was the constant supply of palmetto bugs!!! Yes, gigantic nasty palmetto bugs. There is a decent view of the lake, but there is so much stuff between the cabin and the lake and the worst thing is the DUMPSTER!! Yes the dumpster. The owner should be ashamed to market this property. The linens were clean and I know the housekeeping staff does all they can to make it nice, but when you have poor quality to work with, there isn't much anyone can do to make it welcoming and enjoyable. It truly is a DON'T!

Great for our(too) short but sweet fishing trip.
Property was all we needed. Unfortunately air conditioner made such a horrible noise, we couldn’t run it. We had to sleep with the windows open & fans on. It sounded like a marine osprey was landing!
