Was not assigned a room I was shown online. The room was absolutely filthy and had stains from smoke damage, water damage, dirt on carpet that won’t come out, dirty sofa I’m sure had bed bugs. Pillows and sheets smelled of mildew I’m sure there’s growth of mold somewhere in there. The rooms advertised online is that shows renovated and beautiful are not what they are assigning people at check in. The room looked like there was a rock star party in 1972 that never ended. Absolutely the worst experience. The staff were friendly, and casino/resort was fine but being blind winded by a room assignment was heartbreaking for my first experience to Vegas.

Hot tub closed. Only a few pools open. Limited dining. Front desk check in. Not good. Lied to about availability pay a lot to check in early. Had to seek manager to get fixed. Do not like resort fees at 61 and 64 we do not use. But still gotta pay I will say. Housekeeping was excellent! Dont like the food options have to order in a kiosk, and then they want a tip! Deposit are high. Been going here for many years. Since it opened , not sure if i will go back.

My take away is the smiles and help of the staff in every department I went to _store, restaurants, pool Etc, also the package deal I got from Travelocity With flight and hotel were excellent. All though my room was one of the old ones it was clean had a great rest. Disappointed the hotel did not provide a shuttle to the strip or surrounding areas.

Our stay at the Rio Masquerade Tower had both highlights and areas for improvement. On the positive side, the staff we encountered were very friendly, the bed was extremely comfortable, the room was spacious with a beautiful view, and the hotel itself offers some excellent features. Free parking is a big plus, the location is convenient, the pool area is clean and inviting, and there are plenty of dining options on site. That said, the room showed significant signs of wear. The carpet was dirty, the décor was dated, and one of the lampshades stood out in the worst way—it was stained, mismatched from the others, didn’t fit the fixture properly, and sat tilted and crooked, which looked terrible. The in-room safe clicked all night without working, there was no fan in the bathroom, and no complimentary water provided (a disappointment in the Vegas summer heat). To make matters worse, the vending machines were out of bottled water. An odd touch was a tacky picture covering a shower window, which felt out of place. Checking in and out was also inconvenient, as the process was entirely through kiosks with no staff available to assist, leaving us to figure it out ourselves. Overall, while the Rio offers friendly staff, a comfortable stay, and enjoyable amenities like the pool and restaurants, the rooms could benefit from a refresh and better attention to detail to truly match the quality of the rest of the property.
