Great place to stay with a family

Pros: Great size rooms and good value.
Cons: With that many rooms, another pool would have been nice.
Location: Miracle Mile is right across the street.
Couldn't believe how efficiently we got checked in and into our room. I was worried that the pool wasn't going to be "cool" enough for my kids (age 5 and 2) but they had a blast. It was nice that the main pool got shade in the mornings and in the afternoon. I couldn't imagine going to Vegas with kids, but thanks to this place we still had a great time. The ease of getting in and out was a huge plus. Very impressed.

Construction Zone

Cons: Noisy
Stayed at resort Feb 2 - Feb 6/13. Nice location just off strip by PH. Room clean, showing some wear on fabric on furniture with stains. All was well until 645am on Monday..which is when constructions workers by the hundreds showed up to work on new tower being built. Not subtle, large machines, banging and air horns. This happened every morning at exactly same time. We did get an email from resort letting us know that the roof top pool and bar were closed due to construction but failed to mention the rest. We checked out early. When mentioned upon check out, was advised would be under construction for a year. I recommended that management should consider a later start time which was met with a shrug by front desk staff. Maybe will return when construction completed.

Small pool and No Restaurant

Both pools were the size of a jacuzzi and at check-in I was told since there is no restaurant at the hotel I would be provided coupons for local restaurant at the. guest relations desk but when I requested them three times throughout my three day stay, never received them, and the staff at that desk were very rude.

Las Vegas for New Years at the Chateau

Pros: Quiet
Cons: during new years - no main stars performing
We go mostly for the shows, and this year was no different. We also wanted to take in the fireworks for New Years, which we did. We stood out on the main street and watched all the hotels shoot off their fireworks. It was great. The Chateau was great too. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. I definitely expect to pay much more for this room, so yes it was a great deal. It is close to everything too so we never took a taxi, we were anywhere in 5 minutes. Guests of the Chateau could go up to the top of the hotel to watch the fireworks but we chose the street just to be in the crowds.

Good, clean, nice location on strip . easy in and out. We would stay there again.

Pros: Quiet
Cons: has a bit of a smell to it
We liked the location on the strip. It was an easy in and out with the free valet service. We also liked it because there was no casino attached to it. We didn't have to walk far from the lobby to the room. It would have been nice to have a place to eat inside the hotel but there were plenty of eateries near the hotel. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. It was nice having a small kitchen area in the room, and there is laundry facilities on the floor. There is a small grocery area near the front desk wich is pricey. There is a pool on the roof with a bar over looking the strip. The view is nice of the strip. The bar has limited hours. Over all it was a very good place to stay and we would recommened it.

GREAT PLACE NEAR STRIP

Stayed over the NewYear's weekend. Great location near everything, my wife and I walked everywhere ( we walk daily thought). Hotel was very nice, room were very nice and clean, all the hotel is as nice as and clean as the newest 5 star. Staff very friendly and willing to help. Would definitely stay there again on another trip to Vegas...Close enought to the Strip, but don't have to put up with the noise and smoke of being in a Casino hotel.....

A Keeper! A+++++

I stayed, I bought an every other year week. Went on another trip there, bought the other week!!! I will be staying here every year for the rest of my life, and still smile about it every day! Not only an exceptional resort/timeshare, but is planted right nest to the best Casino on the strip! Planet Hollywood! If you love the night life/shopping/ and an exquisite taste of style, Planet hollywood is your place!!! I love everything about this Marriott, from the rooftop pool and bar, to the view from the roof at night! Service is always excellent, staff was just incredible, free valet! How can ya loose?? LOL. They even have a small kids room downstairs to entertain the youngsters, if ya bring them ... I definately hit the nice walmart about 10 miles out,NW ( the store downstairs is expensive), but all around top notch vacation! Enjoy!!

Wonderful Hotel and Location

We stayed in the two bedroom suite which was huge! 3 TV's, one large plasma in the living room worked great for the group. The full kitchen was a great plus for having breakfasts and snacks available. Location was good - walking distance to a number of hotels and there was a free shuttle to the Fashion Mall so you could get to hotels on the North end of the strip. One downside is not having any restaurants onsite but if you walked across the street there were a number of choose from so it wasn't a problem.
