Amazing place. Very discreet, and can not believe how they have been able to sound insulate the place in a way that there is absolutely NO spill over sounds/noise from Casino, or anything else for that matter. Service is amazing and the rooms are big, and very nicely done. Classy place in all ways

"Amazing place to stay!"
I stayed with my parents on a quick trip to Vegas. I must admit that I was a bit afraid that it was not a good idea, but being away from the Strip was actually an excellent idea. We rented a car so we could move all over Vegas without a problem and the Palms' location was ideal to do so. Rooms are comfortable, clean, large and cozy. We felt really pampered all the time and it was indeed worth every cent we paid.

"Awesome location on the strip "
This hotel is located near the middle of the strip which is great if you want to walk the strip to take in the sights. Great facilities and nice spacious rooms. The bed is the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in :) The "smart" room controls put everything at your fingertips - from controlling climate control, lighting, and the curtains. The only complaint I have was housekeeping. The room was clean at check-in - but even though there were 2 guests listed in the reservation there was only one bathrobe. I requested another one directly from the housekeeper the day after check-in while the room was being cleaned - did not get one and we were "shorted" on the towels too. The next day the room didn't get cleaned at all (despite having the electronic "service" request active for over 10 hours. I ended up tracking down a housekeeper down the hall to at least get fresh towels and was told the room would be prioritized for evening service - but it never happened. For a 3-night stay only having the room serviced once is not acceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Even though my complaint about the lack of housekeeping was noted, nothing was done about it. Disappointed in the way the complaint was handled.

"5 Star Hotel with 5 Star Noise"
I don't normal write reviews. But thought I'd try helping out fellow travelers. Check-in. Super long line for a Sunday. But it went pretty fast and the Hotel handed out water to people. The guy checking us in was really nice and helpful. Here is where the only "Bad" of my trip begins. I was informed upon check-in the night club XS might be noisy, but I was on the 27th floor and he said it should be almost nonexistent. Was he WRONG. First night, went to the Circus show at the Bellagio and it was awesome. Got back to the room around 12:30 and listen to BOOM BOOM BOOM from the night club until 4am. 2nd night I called the front desk and they said XS Club was closed that night, so I should be ok. nope, it was open. Was switch to room 6142, that's 61 floors up. I was super happy until yeah, BOOM BOOM music from the night club. My wife said it sounded almost louder on the 61st floor. Well, changing rooms is a pain and it was only 2 more hours of it, so I got through the night. The only way to not hear the XS Night Club music is stay on the mountain side, (which only has king beds). The front desk did say they would bring in a roll-a-way bed for our other guest, if we wanted that side. So I can honestly say that the hotel stuff is very helpful and always trying to make you happy. 3rd night, no XS Night Club noise and was great. Overall the Encore and the Wynn are excellent hotels with very good restaurants. As long as you're ready for 19 dollar Margarita's and pricey food.

"Las Vegas trip"
The Cosmopolitan hotel experience was very nice. We were there for 3 nights, and we were immediately upgraded to a junior suite upon checkin. The hotel room was very nice, modern and clean. The facilities were in great shape and staff were all very helpful. The restaurants were varied on 2 and 3 floor and the food was excellent everywhere we went. The only negatives I can say is that despite the fact that we had a kitchenette there was no coffee maker or coffee or tea provided. We had to go to a restaurant or cafe and spend $4 just to get some coffee in the morning, we were charged for WiFi, and virtually for everything other than the room. We don't go to Las Vegas a lot so I'm not sure if this the the norm there, being charged for anything.
