It was checking in and i went to the front desk to talk to a real person. And the lady tried directing me to the kiosk. Im like well im right here. She was not friendly at all. Then just pointed toward the resort tower. I also got the high roller view but it was nowhere to be seen. I had a horrible view. Also the vent fan in my bathroom didnt work. I will definitely be staying elsewhere next year. The bar staff was very friendly though. I would definitely come back through for some gambling food and drinks. But i will book somewhere else

We checked in early which may have been not the best idea. Our room was ok. The bathroom not clean. An eyelash, hair in the shower. Plus I paid more for a junior suit and it looked like a standard room. Plus the pool was only open Friday through Sunday and it was hot. So we used the next door pool at the Paris.

Would Love to Return Again!

The Horseshoe was perfectly accommodating, with nice rooms and comfortable beds. I loved the pool, it wasn’t too busy and the canopy price was so great. I feel like I genuinely got to enjoy an on strip hotel without having to sacrifice thousands of dollars for a nice experience. I would love to come back again.

I stay at the Horseshoe twice a year. It’s my first choice for hotels because it is in a great location and is always immaculately clean. That’s in time was no exception. However, there were a few other disappointing issues with my stay. There was some very noticeable damage in my room. The furniture was quite dinged up and the handle to open the fridge cupboard was nearly torn off. It was bad enough that I felt it important to alert the staff so I wouldn’t be charged for damage. On my second day, I was interrupted with banging on my door as staff wanted to come in and change the air filters in the room. And then on the third day, the water in my room (and others) was turned off for quite some time. I was given advance warning of this but it still prevented me from being in my room during that time. I inquired about getting a reprieve on that days resort fees but was told that “no compensation would be given.” I was disappointed by this as I fee that not having running water in your room should disqualify a hotel from charging a “Resort” fee. Sadly, this trip left a bad taste in my mouth towards The Horseshoe.

The room was not cleaned prior to our arrival. We called down to have the room cleaned when we arrived, and then again multiple times over the next two days. We also spoke to two people at the desk in person. Each time we were told that someone was going up to clean the room. We were also told that a housekeeping manager was going up personnally, and told that a manager would reach out by phone, which didn't happen. Ultimately nothing was done for our stay of three nights. There were papers dated two days prior to our arrival in the room. Long, dark hair was in the tub, shower, by the toilet, and sinks; garbage was on the floor; pubes were in the shower; makeup was on a mirror and light switch; and there was a dead bug in the shower. This was a celebration vacation so we paid to upgrade the room. They refunded our resort fees after repeated contacts, but would not clean the room. Who knows what is being cleaned at this hotel. Don't stay here, we won't be doing so again.
