The side doors didn't work. The front door had to be pushed open and closed. The stairs were not avaliable. Breakfast was closed. The TV didn't work at first. There was exposed plywood in the bathroom. I wasn't warned about any of this but the staff was very nice.

Lots of renovation, holes all in bathroom walls. Worst thing, main reason for selecting this property was the breakfast buffet offered. On check in, was told that there was no breakfast at all. Beds were comfortable and rooms relatively clean but all of this would have been netter known whem nooking.

Heavy remodeling happening at this property. Cleanliness of the property especially the rooms. Stairways and addition exits were listed a not useable unless of an emergency. Door lock system in our room was not as secure as it should be. Room numbers were just painters tape with the number written with a sharpie. The check in staff was great!

The staff at the Grain Valley Inn was great, but the rooms I had booked were not the rooms we received and I'm still waiting for a new receipt showing the less expensive room we ended up staying in. They told me that would be done by Expedia. Please send the updated receipts for Itinerary # 73262225669491. We did not stay in a room with 2 queen beds. The Grain Valley Inn told me the stay would be less expensive.

This property is in transition from a previous owner. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was great. Don’t miss the biscuits and gravy. The property was also quiet despite being adjacent to I-70. We did not hear any road noise in our room. We would stay here again in the future.

They were remodeling and tried to put us in a room that had been painted 4 days before. The smell was horrible. They tried to stick an ozone machine in room and finally upgraded us to a suite. It worked out and the second room was good.

Parking area awkward especially for handicapped. I know you are changing over ownership. Rooms need deep cleaning from curtains to floor. Need more than carbs for breakfast. Need eggs. Beds were comfy and clean so that is most important.
