65th Birthday Getaway
My family totally enjoyed our stay. Check In with Leslie was a breeze. Our rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The bed slept like a dream. Property is clean, renovated and well maintained. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. All staff and guests were friendly and helpful. The Nightly Ghost Tour with Jay is well worth the money spent. We will be back.

Great and unique hotel!
Staff everywhere were very helpful! This is a great place for its history. The hotel had a restaurant, which was a bit expensive, but so nice not to have to leave to find a meal or drink.

The customer service in all areas was phenomenal. The bed and pillows were somewhat uncomfortable and the bed was noisy/creaked when just sitting down. The room was clean but the leather bench in our room had a tear and large black spot on it. For the price of the room would expect no real flaws. Otherwise extremely happy and will definitely go back. The history of the hotel and the town was so intriguing. Would recommend better direction as to how to book spa and massage services. The spa told me they are booked 6-8 weeks out for massage and other services but very unclear from the site I booked on how to proceed with booking services. We ate at the Three Owls and it was delicious!! Also had breakfast in our room which was beautifully presented and also very good! LOVE that checkout is not until noon so you can truly relax and not be rushed out or have to get up early.

I absolutely loved the spa, however, I was given some incorrect information when booking my services. I was told that the body wrap didn't include massage, so I booked a massage as well. After my massage, I went on to the wrap to find that it did include a massage. I could have saved a considerable amount of money if l had been given the correct information.

This was a pretty hotel with a lovely room. It was clean. The lobby smelled like a spa. My problem with our stay was our room was not ready at 3 when were supposed to check in. Thats fine, things happen but there was also no where to go to wait. The bar was not open, the coffee shop was not open. We waited in the lobby for a while but decided to head to the town and wait there. We left our number with the front desk and headed into town. There was 1 bar open, and we waited there until 4:15 when i called them to see if the room was ready. It was, we got a text right after I hung up. Maybe this sounds petty but this was a little more than i usually pay for a hotel and i would think that they would at least put out the effort to make you feel welcome. It was during the week and they werent that busy.
