It may be a property management issue, but proceed with caution
This is what I sent the owner. I was told it was a property management problem and would be addressed. I do have time stamped pictures of the deficiencies. I was not offered any recompense. In addition, I was emailed 2 days prior and told I would be given entrance code closer to arrival. After a 14 hour drive, no code in my inbox. I sat outside in the dark as I waited for the owner to respond to my request for entrance.
„First let me say the property is an asset and could be more profitable with a little deli hence and trusted people who take pride in their work. Concerns you may have no knowledge of include the following:
—the back bedroom had a very large palmetto bug on the wall the first night. I also saw several smaller bugs in the master bathroom.
—cleaning in the master bathroom around the tub and baseboards were very off putting. The corner of the tub has accumulated dirt and hair. Mold is also present around the tub.
—the bathroom threshold is in need of repair and is a tripping hazard
—the secondary bathroom’s shower door is in need of repair. It came totally off while my granddaughter was stepping into the shower. It could have caused a very nasty accident!
—the kitchen cabinets were/are dirty from a recent renter. It looks like something was spilled down the face of the cabinets and not wiped up. On white cabinets in particular, it is very off
