Awesome!

This was my first experience at a VRBO and I couldn't be happier! The home was well-stocked, clean, and welcoming. Instructions for check in and check out were clear and thorough. We enjoyed our stay!

Very nice rental close to beach

House was very clean, very nice, well stocked kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. It is an easy walk to the beach.. The closet beach location has a restroom and covered area with tables and benches on the boardwalk. We enjoyed the firepit in the yard. The house is very dark inside due to the shutters on the windows. When we arrived, the washer was not working. The owner quickly responded and got a repairman out the following day. I was apprehensive that it would not be able to be repaired during our stay. I requested reimbursement if we had to use a laundromat since we only rent places with a washer and dryer. The owner stated that it was in our "rental agreement" that only costs would be reimbursed.. I do not consider that adequate reimbursement for the inconvience of having to go to a laundromat. She also requested receipts. I don't know how a person would get receipts from a coin operated laundromat. As it turned out, we were able to use the washer but had to be alert every couple of minutes to a leaking faucet which required emptying several times during a wash cycle. I do believe the owner would have had this repaired prior to our stay if they were aware of it. Also, in regard to the "rental agreement", an ice maker was included in the amenities. There was no working ice maker. We were provided one extra garbage bag for a 10 day rental. No shower supplies were provided which had never happened in all our rentals.

Galveston stay

Nice home, property was as listed. Host was very responsive. Loved the bathroom and modern kitchen. Location was only a 4 block walk to the ocean. We did not have good weather so we didn't get to use the lovely backyard or front porch. Very roomy. Just a few negatives: permanent hurricane shutters on all the windows made it very dark in the home. I understand why and respect it, but with the gloomy weather we had it was just dark and you couldn't see outside. Small TV's. Other than that everything was great, well appointed with extras like beach items, chairs, toys and umbrellas.

Perfection. Gorgeous home. Well preserved and beautiful!! Although the best updates, design and style to perfectly compliment this home. Everything was spotless, beautiful and comfortable. Great location!!

Annoying

We can't open both the front and back doors with the Pssscode so I have to call the property manager so that she opens remotely for us. And the front door is too hard to close and open. AC wasn't work, the light was gone and back by itself so rooms were dark. I appreciate the owners they tried to help us but I really didn't enjoy this vacation.

Beautiful House!

This is actually our second time staying at this house. The house is well taken care of, and is very clean! The host Andrea has always been awesome at responses to any questions we may have. The house is located on a nice and quiet corner. We always felt safe and had plenty of privacy. My kids really appreciated the extra space and beach toys. The outdoor shower is wonderful to wash off all the sand and the little ones after a long day at the beach. Thanks again Andrea!! We will be back!

We loved this house. It was clean, comfy and just enough space for all 7 seven of us. Super close to everything we needed and had all the things we didn't remember to pack. Outdoor shower was great after a day at the beach. We are already planning another trip next year and hoping to stay here again!! Thank you, Andrea, you were a wonderful host.

Perfect Galveston Rental!

My husband and I stayed here for a week with our 10-yr-old daughter and we all absolutely loved the house! It was exceptionally clean, organized and fully stocked with necessities. The washer/dryer were convenient. The location was great - an easy 5 minute walk to the beach and a quick drive to the Strand. The neighborhood was nice and we all felt safe. We appreciated the beach supplies that were provided (towels, cooler, wagon, blanket, chairs, and toys). The house is very spacious, inside and out. We'd stay here again without hesitation. Wonderful stay!

We had a great vacation stay in Galveston! This house was one of the best properties we have ever stayed at in Galveston. The neighborhood was quiet, and our street was well kept. The house was immaculate, everything was clean and recently renovated. Everything we needed during our stay was on site. With four kids we really enjoyed the outdoor shower after the beach days. We also enjoyed the board games and movie selections! The host Andrea always texted back within minutes of any questions that I had, which was greatly appreciated! We loved staying so close to the beach with a lot of extra room. We will definitely come back!
