I loved it. Excellent service. The room was comfortable and luxurious. In each room, there are complimentary water bottles and little bags of Starbucks coffee. Room service was impeccable. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not included, but you can always go down to the restaurant. I must warn you that it's a little pricey and you can find better food at the same price, really. I had ham and bacon sandwich with some potatoes. The potatoes had too much rosemary to the point I couldn't eat them. The sandwich was good. Dinners are even more expensive, and, again, you can find better food for the same price elsewhere. For instance, a small cup of soda cost me $2.50. The Ft. Worth Water Gardens are right across the hotel. Sundance Square is about a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel (depends on how fast you're going.) I mostly walked and sometimes Ubered to places. The Stockyards and Kimbell Museum are about 10 minutes away. If you want to get a Wild West feel, then Sundance Square is not for you. There are too many Yankees (I am one, but they're not exactly the friendliest people.) And, in some cases, it is equally expensive as NYC. I had a good experience, and I do wish I could go back.

Not Impressed

We have stayed at much nicer hotels for less money. It's an older hotel that has not had many updates. Bathroom was terrible. We were there two nights. We didn't have a refrigerator or microwave. We ate once in the hotel resturant and it was just blah. Our lunch bill was $45 for a brisket sandwich (which was extremely fatty), and a quesadillas with 2 sodas. They do have a Starbucks which was very good and a very entertaining staff member that worked it. We paid an additional $20 a day for parking. When we returned from our party we were in town to attend there wasn't a parking spot. The parking is not attended apparantly because due to some event being held in the hotel, people that were not hotel guests were parking in the garage. Also it was not as close as I was led to believe to Sundance Square. Bottom line, I will not stay there again.

Stay

Pros: location
Arrived @ 3 pm (check in time). Finally received room key at 5 pm. Checked in several times after they originally told me it would just be a "few minutes". Reserved a king and received 2 queens. Dirty washrag in bathroom.

Bit of a let down.

Paid for a King bed room, and checked in at 3:30PM. When checking in the front desk tried to put us in a room with two doubles. Asked for the King room we paid for. They said all they had with a King was a handicapped accessible. Fine. Well, be forewarned, a handicap accessible bathroom has no place to set anything, even the toilet is plumbed direct to the wall, so you don't even have a tank lid. The shower is a tiled area with a pretty weak handheld shower, not a tub with a full functioning shower head. The room was sparse as well, and the closet is really non existent...with the safe taking up a lot whatever space there was to hang clothes. The King bed was nice, but only had two kind of thin pillows. We called house keeping to ask for a couple more pillows. They said they were out of any extra pillows but offered to bring us some towels if we liked.....what? Had room service at 10 pm, took about 55 min, which was pretty slow for just a grilled chicken breast and a cookie (in a plastic wrapper). The server made it a point to inform us gratuity is not included. Showed him on the menu where it clearly says a 20% gratuity is included, among other charges like a "delivery fee." He said he doesn't get any of that...So we gave him $3 just to get him to go away. We were in Ft Worth for a wedding. Admittedly for the hotel, it was a busy weekend with TCU Football game, Dallas Cowboy game, and NASCAR on the same weekend, so I can understand how they were full, but if you don't have a King bedroom, don't sell me one. If you pay the price for the Sheraton, you expect Sheraton quality and service. This place just didnt measure up to expectations.

Comfortable and convenient to downtown.

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: have to walk or ride trolly to good eating places.
A very nice and comfortable hotel with easy access to convention center and square. That area has also free trolly service and the bus in downtown every 10 minutes is only $1.50 which takes you to the fun Ft. Worth Stockyard area with lots of fun shops, eating places, bars and tourist history. I do not recomment the restuarant in hotel as the food was not good and expensive.

Good, clean hotel. Our room was huge. It's a little worn looking, but no real complaints.

Pros: large room
Cons: overcharged for valet parking
The staff was friendly and check in was quick and uneventful... like I like it. The prices was a bit high, but not out of line with other downtown hotels. The room had a bit of a worn look to it. The carpet, walls, etc. were just a little old looking. But everything worked, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and did not smell. I'm always surprised at how many nice hotel rooms have a "smell" to them. I always think it's because they were smoking rooms back in the day. But our room smelled good and clean. The room was also very large. For a hotel room, it was huge really. We didn't need any extra room, but it was nice to have some extra space. The only negatives were that someone was doing construction or something next door. This was only during the day, and for the most part we were not in the room during the day, so it wasn't a big deal. Also, they charged us for two days of overnight valet parking and we had only stayed one night. The funny thing was that I had to ask for a receipt. They did not offer one. It wasn't till then that a noticed the extra fee. They did take care of it right away.

Great Staff and Clean Rooms

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
I stayed at the Sheraton for New Years Eve, and had a great time. Shula 347 resturant and grill had good food and reasonable for hotel standards. Staff were helpful and friendly.
