"Total tourist hotel. Of course it was Godzilla that drew us. The area is the ‘red district’ so at night it was super sketchy right outside the hotel. Plenty of dining in the area and a 7-11 down below. Very nice hotel, but the rooms were micro. We had to put our luggage in the bathroom. Our first time to Japan so maybe this is standard, we weren’t mad about it, just not expecting such tiny rooms. It was pretty expensive, but it was peak tourist season and it’s an attraction. The balcony to get up close to Godzilla Has been CLOSED for over a year due to vandalizing. That was a bummer. Wish we knew that ahead. We didn’t get to have drinks or breakfast in the lounge, we were too late. The “gift shop” is 2 cabinets in the lobby, but same stuff is in Don Quixote. If you love Godzilla you have to try it, if not, there are probably 100 better options. "
