"Will definitely stay in this hotel again."
Swissotel had definitely met all my expectations. Although the room was a little small, everything else was excellent. My mom loved the food stalls at the basement of the hotel. It was also just walking distance to Dotonburi and to a lot of shops. The staff was also very nice.

"Everything nice except the staff"
The hotel was nice, but make sure to get a room with an outside window, otherwise you just have a wall 20 inches from your window. The room I had reserved was very very small and claustrophobic (not like the picture I saw). For 30$/night more we got a much bigger, nice room, with a beautiful view of the city at night. Worth the extra charge. The hotel is well located, close to the subway line, not in the center of the city, more in the business district, which made it really quite and pleasant at night. Internet was spotty and the staff was not very friendly or helpful (at giving directions, places to eat, ...).

The hotel was within walking distance to Osaka Castle which was very nice. We had a beautiful view of Osaka Castle and downtown Osaka from our hotel room. The food at the restaurant was very good. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with Western and Eastern choice breakfast items. Overall, it was a nice stay.
