"Good location, room size walking and bicycling "
Room size is good, we booked 2 beds for 2 person, air-condition is strong. The hotel is at good location, you can walk to west side point of interest such as 清水寺 Kiyomizu Temple, Higashi 真宗本廟(東本願寺) Honganji (south) and shopping areas ( center and south ). And you can walk to hotel from Kyoto station ( 18 mins ). staffs are friendly, speak some English. We didn't take any buses and trains during our 5 days stay in Kyoto, only walking and biking. There is a friendly convenient store and super market just across the street, well, most Japaneses are friendly.

"A+ Customer service"
I stayed 1 night at the Kyoto Tower Hotel during my 2 day tour of Kyoto. It is an older hotel but the facilities were clean & well kept. Our doubles room was a little small (par for Japanese hotel) & the air conditioning was not as cold as I like for the hot muggy weather in July. My husband & I left to continue our trip to Hiroshima & it wasn't until the next day that I realized that I had left my ring behind. I had a Japanese friend call Kyoto Tower hotel to find the ring & send it back to my hotel in Tokyo, I will pay for shipping. The following day we were back from Hiroshima & the ring was already back at my hotel waiting for me, no shipping charge. Two thumbs up for the Kyoto Tower hotel staff!

"Great access "
Hotel is close to a train station and just a stop away from Kyoto station. Bus stop a quick 2 minute walk. Check in and out was quick and painless. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was a bit tight but common for Japan. Toiletries are provided with exception of soap and lotion, also common in Japan. Only annoying thing is having to leave your key when you head out. Would stay again

"Wonderful hotel, great service and good location."
This hotel is ideal for first time visitors to Kyoto, the bus from the airport arrives at the hotel location, so there is no need to worry about getting lost. Lots of attractions in walking distance and also a couple shopping malls. The service is wonderful, they provide lots of assistance. This hotel features many good amenities. I strongly recommend this hotel and will be using their services again.
