The location is unbeatable, right across from the Kyoto Station. The hotel is super affordable but had all the amenities I needed. The room was well furnished and its size was adequate. The only issue I encountered was that I wasn’t able to plug my phone to the tv. It had a USB plug but didn’t work. It’s a small detail since I only wanted to watch my shows before bed (tv only has Japanese channels). Otherwise, everything worked and the room was clean. Front desk and cleaning staff were all very nice. The room had the usual shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. but you can also pick up extras like skincare in the lobby. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because of the quality to price ratio.

Directly opposite Kyoto train station, so very conveniently located. Room only had a frosted glass window so felt a little dark and claustrophobic at times. However, room was clean and staff were friendly.
