My wife and I were celebrating her birthday and took a chance on a hotel we'd never heard of: the MANDARIN ORIENTAL! Best decision of my life! :) The staff treated her and I like family, being kind, gracious, catering to every need we had, always smiling, and basically treating us like we were the King and Queen. I've never had better service from every single staff member: concierge, check-in, doormen, housekeeping, in-room dining, restaurant...in every facility we used, the Mandarin Oriental Staff exceeded our wildest expectation of being pampered, spoiled with generosity, and extremely professional as well. I will always stay here, only stay here, when in London... and already in 24-hours after checking out, have told a dozen people about this phenomenal 5-day stay we had at this beautiful hotel. I have stayed in many hotels around London and the world. I personally think it was great location for what we needed but we had to call for toilet to be repaired and also a few other bits was to a low standard comparison to other hotels at that kind of level we have stayed at. I would stay there due to the location
