Cape Coral New Year’s family reunion
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The open concept home was a perfect layout for our group of 11, allowing each couple to have their own private bedroom and plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes & cutlery, appliances, spices and some pantry basics. Double laundry was helpful with all the sheets and towels we went through. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles. The outdoor space was well used day and night and the sliders opening up to the pool area made entertaining a large group, including a wheelchair, very accessible. The heated pool was greatly appreciated, however only partial sun coverage for a short period of the day at this time of year. The neighbourhood was lovely and quiet and the pride of ownership was evident. We were treated to a wonderful fireworks display by several neighbours on NYE. Five minutes drive to Publix and Walmart made grocery stock ups easy. Nice little public beach about 10 min away, so we didn’t have to brave traffic nightmare into Fort Myers. Rotary Park within 5 minutes walk with nature trails and observation towers. We visited the burrowing owls nesting a block away several times. Met our host Lance briefly one day, who was very kind and friendly and offered some great suggestions of local eateries. This was the perfect venue for our family reunion, gathering in Florida from Montreal and Vancouver, Canada. We would highly recommend and will consider staying here again next year if available.
