Serious problems
Location is great, and on first pass, everything looked clean. I'd sent 2 emails - 1 prior to booking & another after booking - verifying that there would be a Pack n Play and high chair for our grandson, age 21 months. I was told these would be available. We arrived at night. No high chair. I communicated this, and the team did purchase a high chair for us & delivered it the next morning. I thank them for this effort. The pool was advertised as heated, and it definitely was not heated, so we couldn't swim in it. (Afternoon temps were in the 80s during our visit, so it wasn't as though the weather was cold.) This was a big disappointment, as last year our grandson enjoyed floating around in a warm pool in our house in the same city. The first evening, my son said he noticed an odor in the living room, but couldn't find the source. The second evening, both my son and son-in-law noticed a strong odor & determined it was coming from the area rug in the LR. It was definitely animal urine. Yuk! They rolled up the area rug & put it in the garage, which eliminated the smell. I communicated this problem to the Vacasa team. Finally, on our last afternoon, my grandson was toddling around the pool area & found a rusted razor blade behind the grill! I sent a picture of the blade, complained to the Vacasa team, and requested a fee adjustment. I was told someone would contact me the next morning. I haven't heard one word from them since. Serious lapses in cleaning!
