While the room I booked was clean and reasonably fine for 1 person, it really was small. I am not a big person (about 115 lbs) and it was uncomfortable at times. Especially the bathroom. I still love staying at this property but will choose a different room next time.

Great location. It’s an old hotel and though it’s well kept, it’s still old. Easy to hear neighbours in their rooms even when they seem to be talking at low volumes. My room didn’t have the darkening shade so it was also too bright at night.

I would not recommend this hotel. The room was clean but tiny, unremarkable, and drab. Bathroom was dated and worn. The seal around the large window in the room was broken allowing cold air/wind to come in also making the street noise terribly loud. Walls are thin and one can hear everything going on with your neighbors. Also, the coffee pot was broken and water does not get hot.

The only grip I have about my room was the size of the shower. It was literally only 18 inches deep not counting the three or so inches that the shower curtain in sets. Showering was ridiculously comical for me as my shoulders were twice as wide as the shower. I had to get out and get back in to get the other side of my body wet. Honestly, it was one of the most entertaining things for my wife to watch in the two days that we were in Boston.

This is a heavily traffic'ed hotel. The walls are not well sound insulated so you will hear your neighbors at night. The breakfast is army issue fair with lousy coffee, not free. Location is very practical. Staff is modestly accomodating.
