Great location, Great Staff

Cons: Parking is very tight- spaces are small and hard to come by on a busy weekend.
Location: Easy walking and shopping on Newberry Street.
The staff at the Hilton Back Bay are extremely helpful. From the minute I walked in, they were accommodating and pleasant. Made for a great stay. The wait staff in the restaurant at breakfast were so friendly and cheerful- ate everyday there. Thanks.

I thought that for the price the room was small.

Pros: The lobby and consignoir were very nice and helpful.
Cons: The rooms
Location: the location was good for touring and eating
The room was small and I was expecting queen beds instead of standard beds. I thought this room was way overpriced and I was also disappointed that with booking throught Travelocity we could not make any changes and had to pay up front. I would not use Travelocity again.

Poor service

We stayed here 8/9 - 8/11. no recognition as hhonors diamond membership, no excutive level, no executive lounge, except one for diamond level on the ground floor which anyone could wander into. we left the room all day saturday, and came back to an room that was not cleaned, same dirty towels, ect, lights in the bathroom not working, and no diamond benefits were offered. the food in the resturaunt "sports bar" was below avarage even for an sports pub. over all I was not impressed at all by this property...

I'm a believer in the quality of Hilton

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, near famous historical sites, close to music & entertainment, close to fenway park
The Hilton in Boston's Back Bay provided the single best hotel experience that I've had. Located in a beautiful part of Boston with easy access to Harvard, M.I.T., Feway Park, shopping (both mall and boutique), music (Wally's Jazz club is a short walk), dining (too many to name and all of them close by), etc., etc. I'm a runner and every day I had a new path to follow which lead me through historical sites and beautiful neighborhoods along the St. Charles river. Last, but not least, the staff were professional yet kind and helpful and they made the stay even better. I can't wait to go back.

Great Back Bay location!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
This hotel is located in a great location near Copley Square, Newbury Street and Boylston Street and South End shopping and restaurants and a short walk to the Public Garden. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, room was very clean and comfortable, and self-parking was available on-site at a reasonable (for Boston) rate.

Good deal with hotel and flight combo.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: No free Internet
The Hilton Back Bay is great for its close proximity to restaurants, stores, and Metro, as well as, museums. Walking distance to all. The hotel was very clean. The pool is small but good enough for kids. I would use this hotel again.

Great location

Pros: Close restaurants, location, good breakfast
Cons: bad mattresses
Close to everything in the back bay. Not part of the pru complex but across the street from it. Lots of nice restaurant close by. Staff friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast quality was great. Lots of fresh fruit. Rooms are small and only double beds, not the best quality mattress. Bathroom very small, can not open door without squeeze next to the toilet. Overall good room for the price. If they had better quality mattresses it would be even better.
