This is the second citizenM I have stayed at, and I must say I have loved their concept as well as their location in both Boston and Chicago. The only minus thing I could say would be. I wish they had coffee machines in the room.

We had a problem with our first two rooms but the managers and staff were super helpful and got us moved. I made a mistake on my booking and was not aware of my checkout date, the manager Zach called to let me know and was unable to get me a room for the night. They had to go into our room and gather our things to get the room ready for the next guest. They put our things in bags and placed in a locked conference room for us to go through when we returned. They offered to get us a room at another property and took such care of us! A few things you need to be aware of. 1. location is next to a venue and has activities every day and can be loud. 2. bed is from wall to wall so you have to crawl over your bedmate, could be an issue for elderly etc. 3. Bed was just not comfortable for us. PROS: GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, food hall next door, starbucks around the corner, market around the corner, breakfast is GREAT, BEAUTIFUL view! Would not stay again but would recommend to anyone young and wanting to stay where the action is!

Rooms are tiny! Bed is walled on 3 sides forcing the inside person to climb over your companion to get out. Not good if you get up in the night for any reason! The staff was very nice and moved us to a handicap room with a normal bed otherwise I'd rate one star.

Most of the staff were great, though when we were checking in during the pouring rain, we asked about parking and the person was basically clueless, they told us of an app that had me park a half hour walk away, so I walked in the rain, luckily I found a bar to warm up in and have a drink!! lol. We were both concerned with an incident that happened in the middle of the night that we both woke up and witnessed a tiny purple beam of light coming down then disappeared. We forgot to ask about what exactly was going on? Were we being scanned?? Or??

Boston Stay

Our experience at the Citizen M in Boston was nice! It is a relatively minimalist space, but very comfortable! We enjoyed our stay- fair warning there is not parking, so it is ideal for someone who is going to Boston without a car. Since it is connected to the TD center, when we arrived on Friday night late, a concert was ending and every street was blocked off leading up to the hotel (not the hotel’s fault!) I tried calling the hotel to get directions, but was unable to reach anyone. This is the reason why I am giving this review 4 stars instead of 5. Location is really great and convenient to North End!
