I didn't expect to pay a cover charge to access the roof top lounge area. And the pool was a little dirty. But the room was very nice, the bed was comfy, and the staff were A++.

Boutique Hotel close to the Common

This hotel was wonderfully located to so many great spots and was just so nice for the price. The room was decorated in a modern way, spacious, had a bathtub, and the bed was super comfortable. The tv was also the best I'd seen in a hotel. After a long day of sightseeing I loved that I could stream Netflix. Seriously, so pleasantly surprised by this hotel and would absolutely recommend it to anyone staying in Boston.

Good Location - lousy staff

At check-in - asked where I could get a coffee and roll instead of paying 22 dollars for a buffalo. The did not mention that I could get a continental breakfast in the hotel. They told me where to go outside. The next am, another clerk sent me off with such terrible directions that I gave up and came back and managed to get bagels for me and my guest in the hotelHad to ask for something to stir the coffee with. No container to take back to the room- just a napkin for two bagels with cream cheese and jam. What a mess- for $400!

Modern with an old-school twist

Pros: Conveniently in Theater District and near Boston Common; high-end feeling
Location: Boston Common, theaters, shopping
Came to this hotel for our honeymoon. The first thing we loved about the hotel was the mix of old and new elements to give the hotel a whimsical feeling that remained upscale. The proximity of many theaters (as this hotel is in the Theater District) was wonderful. We also enjoyed how close to the Boston Common we were. The staff were pleasant and the valet experience was simple.

Nice Hotel In the center of Boston Common

Hotel was very Nice. Rooftop Bar was fun. The concierges, John and Jill were both very helpful. They also made my 50th birthday extra special. Would definitely stay here again.

Not Really A Luxury Hotel

Pros: Near downtown. Service employees friendly. Starbucks and 7-11 nearby for real coffee. Would recommend only if deeply discounted room could be had.
Cons: The room my family stayed in usually went for $200+ per night. No way it's worth that kind of money. Maintenance issues in room and elsewhere.
Location: Museum of Science, Boston Common, Theatre District, upscale shopping and restaurants.
Got a deal thru a travel site, otherwise this review would be more negative. To start with, layout of hotel was very confusing–Check in on 6th floor; pool is on the roof (closed due to construction); 2 sets of elevators: 1 set to get from street level or garage ton6th floor then change elevator banks to get to guest rooms; lifts VERY slow and crowded due to construction workers' use. "Free WiFi" consists of having to register ea (max 4) device EVERY DAY; tv service terrible–few channels/NO channel guide in room; On Demand movie rental cost $18.99; In-room coffee svc terrible: very weak coffee; Room service food outrageously expensive and def not family-friendly; Emerald Lounge is referred to but no menu in room nor even any idea of where to find it; phone requests to Guest Services sometimes don't get response; room temp VERY hard to regulate; one bed very close to AC/Heat wall unit and was drafty overnight in 20-degree weather; self-park at hotel costs $40 per DAY, valet park even more. They DO provide "luxury" bathroom amenities, very fluffy pillows

A wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Boston!

Pros: The place has a unique style and the staff was excellent and responsive.
Location: The location is perfect, just a block off the Boston Commons, lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby.
The Revere provided a lovely stay for my colleague and me. We work for a nonprofit and the price point met our budget. Yet the staff were excellent, the room appointments and extras (such as bathrobes!) at the Revere made it feel like a much more expensive hotel. We'll stay here again when in Boston.

Nice hotel in the middle of everything

Clean and modern hotel, Dont expect thrills or you will be disappointed. But do expect bubbly when you arrive, a clean and comfortable room in the middle of everything. You can walk anywhere you want in the commons. Awesome

Wonderful hotel near the theatre district

Pros: The bathroom amenities were a real treat and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. I also like that the offered queen sized beds instead of doubles.
Cons: The scent in the lobby was a little strong.
Location: Close to the subway, theatre district, Chinatown, the original Cheers bar and the trolley tour stops.
The hotel was very modern and rooms were spacious. I loved the aroma therapy (though a little strong in the lobby), but the shampoo, conditioner, and soaps were wonderful. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Service was quick and the concierge was very helpful in answering questions and helping with arrangements. The hotel offers night life, but is also family friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting it again!
