My partner and I stayed for our honeymoon, and we could not have been happier with our decision to stay at the Omni Parker House. The facilities and the surrounding area were excellent, located right next to Boston Commons park, but what made our stay especially great was the staff. Friendly, helpful, and personal. From reception, to the bellman’s, to the restaurant and bar staff - everyone made us feel so welcome.

Servive was very good and I easily got an upgrade on my second day. Everything service related was very good, including Valet, very efficient. Excellent location. My complaint is that while the lobby is pretty and retains its historic charm, the rooms sorely need a makeover! For a hotel of that caliber and price the ceilings shouldn’t be popcorn ceilings and wall ac unit sounded like an airplane. Rooms are very “tired” looking.

Property is close to the Freedom Trail and other tourist attractions. On-site restaurants are expensive. Room was cramped and the bathroom had an annoying automatic light that would come on when you didn't want it (e.g., when you're trying to sleep) and turn off when you needed it (e.g., while taking a shower.)

We had a nice stay. Room was clean, no view. Easily walkable to the Freedom trail. The one thing I did not like was the bathroom which has glass doors and an automatic light. Woke each other up every time we went to the restroom. Also the bathroom has no place to put your toiletries. A few hooks would be nice. We did enjoy the restaurant Last Hurrah, the lobster roll was very good. Supposedly the hotel is haunted, we did not hear or see anything. Elevators were fast. We loved being downtown, but we were glad we didn’t get a car when we saw the $70 per night parking. Overall I would recommend it, and would stay again.
