"Really enjoyed the stay here, and I will def stay again. It’s a great location, with many entrances to different access points, and only about a 5 min walk to Sankofa square. I felt safe walking around, it’s in a well lit area and many surrounding areas have security as well. The weather was great while I was visiting, and I walked almost everywhere, including to the Ripley’s Aquarium and CN Tower which was about a 30 min walk. My only complaint would be that the bathroom in the room was pretty small, so if you don't like small spaces I would recommend requesting a room with a larger bathroom. Other than that, the room (which has a small walkout balcony) and hotel was great! "

"The Fairmont Royal York is a jewel in the heart of the GTA. Without exception each and every staff member we met during our stay made us feel as if we were their number one priority. Professional, friendly and knowledgeable people eager to help and provide first class service. I wish I could single out each and every staff member for jobs well done. The property was impeccably clean and the lobby areas were beautifully lit and furnishings well maintained. Dining and bar areas were unique and menus were diverse and well presented. The accommodation was well sized and appointed, the Gold floor experience was second to none and should be strongly considered as an option. Room service was very tasty, prompt and helpful employees as is the norm at the Royal York. The Royal York is a unique experience in a very competitive market and seems to set the industry standard when it comes to old school, first class customer service and is a remarkable lodging experience from beginning to end. "Great location, friendly front desk even giftes my 2 young children toys and cookies. First day, room was neat and clean. Second day, cleaning staff left a dirty rag near coffee machine, floor was not vacuumed and only left 2 towels. "
