I recently stayed at One King West Hotel in Toronto. Overall, the staff were very helpful and communicative, which made my experience smoother—especially since the in-room phone wasn’t working, but I was able to text and easily get in touch with them. The hotel has a great vibe, and the location is fantastic—close to everything and very walkable. The lobby bar is a beautiful space to relax in, and while I didn’t make it to the spa or other facilities, the overall atmosphere felt welcoming. A few things to note: the in-room washer/dryer was a very cool feature and definitely a plus for longer stays. However, the washrooms felt a bit dated, there’s no mini-bar in the room, and the cleanliness could be improved—after walking around in just socks, they were noticeably dirty (slippers recommended!). Room service food wasn’t great either, so I’d suggest checking out the many restaurants nearby instead. It would also be nice if the hotel included a few little touches, like complimentary bottled water or a welcome note in the room upon check-in, to make the stay feel even more personal and inviting. All in all, I’d recommend this hotel for its amazing location, friendly staff, and great vibe—just a few improvements in the rooms, amenities, and little details would really take it to the next level.

Nice hotel. Didn’t like the idea of going to the Ritual Cafe to order a sit down breakfast. I didn’t know to go there until I asked the front desk. I suggest a sign at the tables instructing you to go to Ritual Cafe to order. Rooms were beautiful and well-stocked with amenities. The only thing I didn’t like is the single pull down sheets of toilet paper.

The location of our suite in the Tower was terrific with windows toward three directions providing views of the CN Tower, the lake, and uptown. A washing machine and dryer were also provided in the suite. The maintenance team responded immediately when we reported light bulbs not working. The hotel is located only a few blocks from the train that runs from the airport to downtown Toronto. Wifi was excellent. Superior bed linens.
