Small room and windows were poorly insulated but overall, it was ok for a one night stay. Near Rogers Centre, CN Tower and Hockey hall of fame were walkable from the Hotel. Public parking was not very far from the hotel.

i always stay here if i can, the staff are really great here, i checked in super late, it’s not fancy, not quiet but city noise helps me sleep. the beds are comfortable, it’s clean, convenient, affordable, and i love the old school charm of it, it’s at the heart of downtown queen west. great jazz bar downstairs.

Excellent location. Very nice staff. A bit small room and the bed but decent for short visits. Clean facilities. AC working decently. Nice bathroom. The room was above the club but we did not hear any disturbances. Overal a positive experence.

Good stay! Was in town for a concert, and took advantage of the Jazz bar for dinner and the show on the first night. (Mark McLean and his band was great!) Obviously with the age of the property it's not going to be 5 stars all around, but the stay was comfortable and quiet. Was a little farther then I had expected to the Budweiser Stage, but transit in Toronto is great. Would stay again!

Lovely staff Great central area Budget friendly Oliver is an amazing employee who went above and beyond to provide recommendations across the city to out of towners. Only downside was the water pressure wasn’t the best and a bad light in the bathroom but with everything else it was very easy to overlook.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Rex Hotel. Our room was private, quiet and cool. A nice little nest to return to after a busy day in the bustling city. We were able to get around old Toronto very easily with the Rex as our base. The jazz in the bar was great! We were still able to sleep without hearing the hustle and bustle from the main floor.
