Used as a base for 1 night before an early flight home. Calm and tranquil with excellent staff and access to very good Spa facilities. It shares a spot with the Hotel Villa Fontaine, and you could see how they were positioning the premier against its mid-range sibling. As you come out of the elevator there's quite a bussling reception area, then you turn left and go through some solid doors to check in to the Fontaine Premier and suddenly it's all calm and quiet. Other little extras include a fridge stocked with complimentary drinks (juices, beer and wine) and free access to the Spa. (I think the regular fontaine guests have to pay for this). It's a bit like going into a lounge at the airport. Only you can decide whether the extra is worth it for those add ons. The room wasn't huge, and we had to do a little suitcase navigating, but it was comfortable and did the job for one night.

I was only there for a quick layover. It’s was a bit overly luxurious for my short stay. Can’t beat the convenience. It’s literally right outside of the international terminal at Haneda.
