"Parking was easy. Check in was easy; young woman at the desk was very friendly. She assigned us a room right across from the pool - my mistake. I should have requested further away to minimize noise and light streaming in the entire evening. The pool was active being a Friday night; and the area was well lit (as well it should be). The room had blackout curtains, but light still 'leaked' around the top/bottom. The room itself was spacious and clean, though aged; carpet worn, loose shower faucet, roof repairs were noticeable from water leaks. AC blew cold & quiet; a plus after a long hot day. Bed was comfortable, though a bit soft for spouse's preference. Mini-fridge, ironing board, hair dryer, desk/chair, and lounge chair. Breakfast was basic; cereal, cupcakes, waffle, coffee, juice. Overall, good value for a night or two."

"First, let me state that all the staff were very helpful and nice. That is the only reason I gave this review four stars. As far as having a clean place to stay, I would give it two stars! When we arrived at our room, my bed sheet was dirty, there was some previous guest's underwear under my bed, there were dirty towels shoved in the cabinet under bathroom sink, the shower drain had hair in it from a previous guest, the floors were not well swept, there was a live centipede in the sofa sleeper, and on day two we noticed some bizarre thing on the upper window ledge (about 15 feet up the vaulted ceiling). Also, when we were standing at the bottom of the stairs we had to use to get to our room, a maid purposely slide a large box down the steps! Schlitterbaun itself is very worth experiencing. However, just don't stay at The Lofts!"
