We had a nice room with a river view. It was nice and clean and big! The only thing that we did not like is that the bathroom doors slide and they do not have a lock. Otherwise everything was great!

We travel often and have never received such poor service. The air conditioning was out in the lobby and breakfast area our entire stay with temperatures in the high 90’s. Half of the breakfast area was closed. Given it was a holiday weekend, that left too large of a crowd all scrambling for food. They didn’t give any notice for the fire alarms being tested and they were being tested as we were trying to go to bed. My daughter and her husband went down 6 flights of stairs with their 5 kids ages 1-9. Only to find out there wasn’t a fire. The swimming pool was too small for the crowd as well and the pool towels were tiny, old and thin. Housekeeping removed my swimsuit along with the towels in the room. Even though they do all laundry in house, my suit was never found. But to make matters worse I couldn’t even get any to return phone calls and voicemail boxes were full. Very poor service overall.

Stay was great for the most part. The pool towels were very small and the breakfast was a bit lacking. Not a fan of the valet, they left my car in the street on, unlocked and we had to hunt down the valet to get the keys. Other than that, it was a very nice experience.

We liked the balcony, the view, and being close to the Riverwalk. First night was in very noisy room from 2 am to 6 am from outside. Had to beg for new room on quiet side and had to beg for that first night reimbursement for not being able to sleep. Some staff (Marcus)were helpful, but one manager Anthony was not. He promised to help us with refund for that first night, but did not do it. The pool was built over the Breakfast area and leaks. Not sure we would ever stay at this hotel again.

On the Riverwalk. Not a fancy property, but nice and clean. It looks like the are doing some upgrades. Great place for a family trying to watch budget. Walking distance to Alamo and other historic places.
