Stay

Location was great. Indoor pool was open - has lots of things to do for children. Enough beds in the condo. Things that could use updating - bed pillows (they were flat and weak), plastic chairs out on the balcony, the dressers seemed to be off the tracks and hard to open / close, applainces (gas stove burners were messed up and smelled like something was burning of them when used for hot tea).

Great stay

Could be updated some but doesn’t distract from the whole stay! I would recommend a separate lock on the front door for families with small children. My 1 yr old could reach the front door handle and easily open it.

Beautiful views and wonderful porch! There are some broken items in the condo. For an adult trip this would be great, but if traveling with small children I would keep looking!

Great location, condo needs updates

Location and views are amazing. Hotel amenities are wonderful. The condo itself needs updating and wasn't very clean. The toilet in the master bath had a black ring, possibly mold, the tub in the secondary bathroom did not drain much so when we showered we were standing in water past our ankles. The beds in the secondary bedroom were extremely uncomfortable. The mattress' had zero support. The dishes and decor throughout are very outdated. Not a huge deal, just a comment that it isnt very modern. The tvs in the bedrooms are very small, especially the master bedroom. Again not a huge deal, just a comment. Also a keurig would be nice to have available. The electric can opener does not work. The dvd player is probably unnecessary and would eliminate having so many remotes.

Nice but dated

This was a nice play to stay for a 4 day weekend. The condo was clean and seemed well kept after. The location is great and is within either walking distance or a short drive to restaurants and bars. It is also an easy drive to the Delaware beaches and outlets. That being said the condo as well as the hotel it is located in are very dated. The appliances (washer/dryer and the dishwasher ) have to be closer to thirty years old. Some of the decor and the popcorn ceilings are probably from the same time period. The cabinets are lined with wall paper that is peeling badly. If you plan on doing any kind of cooking, the utensils and cookware seemed cheap and have certainly seen better days. Overall we probably would stay here again based on the price point, but some upgrades are definitely needed.

Oceanfront and bay views

Love the location and space. It was nice to have oceanfront balcony as well as an outdoor space overlooking bay area. Space was good for the family. Unit and furnishings need updated. Minor things need fixed. Sent an email to make mgt aware. Would have been nice to know ahead that the ice rink would not be available Friday and Saturday due to a hockey league event. But it was a beautiful weekend, so we enjoyed the outdoors

Great N. Ocean City Location

While the property might be a little too nostalgic for the 80s, the unit was more than ample for our family and the Coastal Hwy AND beach balconies were both great throughout the day. There's a Food Lion right across the street, along with The original Green Turtle, Pizza Tugos and the Gold Coast Mall. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful views but in need of updates and maintenance

Nothing beats a combined ocean and bay view and, in this regard, the property does not disappoint. The condo was clean and beds were comfortable. Furnishings are badly in need of an update and the unit needs some basic maintenance. Stovetop had problems functioning, lights not working, toaster broken etc. Also, the TV instructions were wrong (probably outdated). All was reported so hopefully they'll fix things up.

Great Little Spot

Perfect for beach vacation

The location is right on the beach, close to a major grocery and other useful stores. The view out the window is beautiful. The building amenities are amazing, fun for both kids and adults. The building is 60 years old, but that lends to its charm!

Great location in beautiful resort, updates needed

The location of this property was great, not too crowded and away enough from the boardwalk, but close enough to get to easily. Great amenities at the resort. The place was clean and quiet. We loved the ocean front and the balcony. Many items in the condo itself were broken, so I made sure to send pictures right away to management so that they knew we were not responsible. The communication was great. The beds were very uncomfortable, and I'd suggest bringing your own pillows, as there were few, and they were very flat. Also, if 8 people are showering around the same time, hot water was limited. I'd suggest spreading them out throughout the day, or having some shower in the morning and some at night. Overall, we enjoyed staying at this property.

Good Choice of Accommodations Clean, Comfortable, Fantastic Views

We've been to the Carousel a number of times so were familiar with the facility and it is always well cared for. The condo was clean, was happy to find the beds made and enough of what we needed. Just a note for the owners, the outside wall to the front balcony was in need of a scrubbing other than that all was very clean. Probably kids in the 2nd bedroom with hands and feet hitting the wall since the bed is right up against it. I would recommend this condo highly. Not only was it nice and clean it also has the best of views of the ocean. Perfect balcony, living room AND bedroom for views. Would feel happy to use this condo again.

Terrible Management

The property has an amazing view but the management via Vacasa was horrible. There was no hot water at all in the unit and our ability to shower was very delayed. We were supposed to get an “amenity reimbursement” which never happened. But much worse than that was that our original reservation was for two nights. We stayed one night and, in the morning, contacted Vacasa and asked if we could stay one additional night. They responded IN WRITING that yes we could stay an additional day/night so we changed our plans for that day thinking we had an additional day to do all the things we wanted to do. Well, that evening they tell us actually we can’t stay another night so we had to check out the next morning. After many phone calls we learned that nobody had a reservation for that next night but they had scheduled work to be done on the unit that day and would not even consider rescheduling the work. They were very rude and not at all concerned about our dissatisfaction. Also, there is no WiFi for the unit - only the general WiFi for the whole building which is slow and not secure. There is an indoor pool and hot tub which was basically not usable it was so crowded. The building needs updating and maintenance. There is nice, new furniture in the living room of the uniit but the bedroom furniture is very outdated and the beds are not comfortable. I do not recommend renting through Vacasa.
