1 Star — Disgusting Management, Lies, and Complete Abandonment
This hotel’s behavior was absolutely disgusting.
We arrived at 3 PM and were told our room was “almost ready.” We came back at 4 PM, the official check-in time, and it was still not ready. After standing there for over an hour with children, we finally learned the truth: the air conditioning had been broken the entire day. Staff knew this and still chose to lie and mislead us instead of being honest.
Management’s behavior was even worse. The manager refused to come downstairs and face us, hiding behind phone calls while making promises of free valet, waived fees, and breakfast to calm the situation. None of it was properly documented. The next day, staff denied everything. Only after pushing did they suddenly “find a note,” but management still failed to honor what was promised and then conveniently disappeared and became unavailable.
They completely abandoned the situation and left guests to deal with their failure alone.
The building itself is also extremely misleading. Instead of the views shown online, many rooms face loud generators and dirty rooftops. The beach, pool, and real amenities are across the street at another building, which is not clearly explained.
Front desk staff were indifferent, dismissive, and showed zero interest in helping. No accountability, no ownership, no respect for guests.
We paid over $2,000 and were treated like we didn’t matter.
