The condo unit itself was really great. Clean and simple, well stocked and the best patio view of the lake. The island building itself needs some major attention and renovation. The pool is not heated and felt like a cold plunge. Couldn’t use. The hot tubs looked dirty and unsafe. The restaurant was 2 sweet busy young “waitresses” encouraging you to order through the app, then wait almost an hour for food that is just reheated. Our pizza tasted like it was days old but just reheated. Decent bar drinks. So much potential wasted with one of the better Lake views in the area.
The best part was sitting on the patio of the condo. Worth it for that alone, just bring your own food ☺️

Diana was the perfect hostess. The property was exactly as described. The amenities such as the shop for paddle boards and other rentals, the fitness center and pool were all very easy to navigate and very clean and well maintained. The balcony was spacious and sits directly overlooking the pool and lake. We picked up groceries on the way in, since options on the island are a little limited. But driving up from north Houston, it was the perfect getaway within 3 hours, and entering the property gates it was easy to feel someplace else entirely. And yes, the deer really roam around just like the pictures. I hope I'll be able to leave a separate review for the gift shop, but if not, I have to say that Heather and Shane made renting equipment such a smooth and easy process. This was truly the most pleasant short getaway I've experienced in a long time.

My husband and I booked a 3-night stay for our 14th wedding anniversary, and we had such a wonderful (and relaxing!) stay. The weather turned out a little gloomy/rainy, but we booked some services at the on-site spa. This villa is right on the water, and we loved drinking coffee on the private balcony. There’s also a restaurant just a few doors down. And the deer here are adorable and fearless. We spent feeding them fruit. It’s also close to The Lucky Rabbit (Bingo night was fun!), a large wildlife refuge for hiking, wineries, and so much more. Diana is a wonderful host, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

Everything about this place is wonderful!!! It is so peaceful and quiet. My most favorite part was the balcony overlooking the lake and pool. I spent most of my time out there.

View from the balcony was beautiful, comfortable bed, the location was great. A huge reason we stayed was because of the hot tubs, and both of them were not working, so that was disappointing. The Wi-Fi was also really slow, but other than that, everything was perfect.

Highly recommend

This is a great place with lovely views of Lake Travis. The Internet wasn't a good connection which to some may be a downer but we loved it. It forced us to truly unplug which we needed. There were resident deer that allowed us to get within inches of them as they have been fed by locals and guests so they aren't skiddish. It was a really awesome experience. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to any person or couple!!!Very clean and quaint. It's a must on your next vacay must dos!!

Beautiful condo on Lake Travis

My wife and I spent an extended weekend here. The property owner was very thorough in providing us with everything we needed to know about the condo and the area before we arrived. After a long drive there, it was refreshing to know there was a restaurant and bar a few doors down from our condo. We used this restaurant and bar several times during our stay. We also visited a couple of other restaurants in the area that were recommended by the host and those were spot on as well. We spent time relaxing on our balcony and in the pool. Both are overlooking beautiful Lake Travis. The hosts of this rental are available if you need them but they were so thorough that we didn’t need to contact them. I highly recommend this rental and hosts. You won’t regret your time there.

This place was absolutely beautiful and felt like a vacation while still being so close to home! The views from the balcony were amazing, you didn’t even have to leave the room. The pool was relaxing with the lake views. Overall, 10/10 experience and will definitely be coming back!
