Overpriced and disappointing
I do not recommend the Hotel Indigo in Austin. I was there three nights and encountered only one kind employee. The maid staff never cleaned or even checked the bathroom, which was out of bodywash. The thermostat resets at night so you end up sweating and uncomfortable. On my final two nights, a huge party of college kids was booked on my floor and proceeded to loudly party until 3:00 a.m. I've stayed at nicer budget hotels.

Great stay!
It was a short stay, but I loved the updated bathrooms (big shower) and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. The bartender was very friendly and informative about city going-ons with great food recommendations

Upon arriving, our A/C wasn’t cooling. Staff came to fix it very quickly! After a night out, we came back to it still being very hot in our room. After talking with Karl at the front desk, he quickly moved us to another room and accommodated us with complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience. Very well located and taken care of hotel. 10/10 would stay again

This hotel is very basic for the price and I wouldn’t stay there again. Also, it’s located next to a night club that plays very loud music until late. It was impossible to sleep. The building and windows clearly aren’t insulated for noise.

Parking/valet instructions were not clear. It took a while to find out where to park and then how to get to the front desk. More way finding signage is needed. The receptionist at check in was not friendly or helpful. She charged my card for the room plus incidentals even though I prepaid. She said I would be refunded but provided no proof or direction when I should expect the refund.

Checked in for work reasons but SXSW happened to be going on so having access go all sorts of performers, venues, bars, restaurants and food trucks within walking distance was definitely a plus!!! Rooms were clean and water pressure in the shower was on point!!! A HUGE bonus was the heated pool 🤗
