Overall great stay. Front desk staff went above and beyond, excellent customer service. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet with many hot and cold food choices. Great location and walking distance to many sites and restaurants. Only small criticism would be the lack of a hot tub even though the pictures online showed one at this property. There is only a smalll regular pool.

This location is listed as pet-friendly. They ask for $100 non-refundable deposit! We didn't stay there. The manager stated that we they would let us cancel without penalty. Will see if this happens.

6th Street Austin

Pros: We selected this hotel for convenience to 6th street and the price was resonable.
Cons: Exhaust fans have to be placed somewhere...just not outside my room. Maybe on top of the building?
Location: 6th street was within walking distance. Lots of live music and styles of food.
This hotel is 2 blocks from 6th street and close to the main bars with live music. It's also within walking distance to several different types of restaurants. The hotel staff was very friendly. Breakfast was included in our stay and I thought very good. The only sticker shock was the parking fee per day. I'm told that's standard for downtown Austin. It's just under $30 per day with in/out. The only negative I can say about the hotel is our room overlooked the kitchen exhaust fans and the heaters for the pool. You're downtown, so I expected to have a view of other buildings. Once those kitchen exhaust fans kick in, you got a hum...and it wasn't a catchy tune. Those fans woke me up every morning, and I travel with a small fan. I would make sure I didn't have the same room again. Otherwise, I would stay again at this hotel.

Easy access to 6th Street? Stay here!!!

If your just looking for a place to stay while you hit up 6th st. then I highly recommend this hotel!!! It's a short walk away to all the bars,clubs and restaurants. Nice rooms as well...

Hotel stay

Pros: Clean and comfortable
Cons: None that I can think of
Location: We walked into town for a little shopping. It was close and convenient
Stayed there for a wedding in the area. Hotel was very nice. Rooms were comfortable and the beds were very comfortable. Didn't have much interaction with the staff but everyone was pleasant to talk to.

Great Location, Large Space

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
The rooms have recently been renovated and they are wonderful. It was like having a nice suite. Will definitely stay here next time we are in Austin again. Stayed at Driskill before and prefer this hotel now!

Good Value and Location

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
This hotel was a good value. The location was good and within walking distance too many attractions. The room was comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was phenomenal! The only complaint I would have would be the bath towels. They are like sandpaper.

My Favorite in Austin

I am in Autin quite a bit and I have stayed in almost all of the downtown hotels. This is, by far, the best for quality of service. Granted, it does not have all of the bells and whistles that the Hilton or Omni offer and it is certainly not on the level of the Driskill or Four Seasons but for the price and considering the service, it is my choice when in Austin. I would rather have the comfort and the service of a caring staff than the glitz and attitude of the others.
