We had an awesome stay at the Orangewood. I had never heard of this property before, so I read reviews from other folks and decided to give it a shot. I am so glad we did!!! The rooms were beautiful, property had safe gated parking, and breakfast options had wayyyy more options than I expected! The pool was a pleasant surprise, looked like it was freshly refinished and was sparkling clean. My children love to swim, so the indoor pool was for them, hot tub was for me.

We missed breakfast cause it ends too early during the week, and it was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. Also, our floor was filled with people who didn’t consider others. Loud, running in the halls…. Front desk staff were great, friendly. And I appreciate the airport shuttle and the driver was very nice.

The convenience of the location to the airport was nice. The room was clean- however- the floor was sticky, wet and damp. The fabric stuck to the bottom of my shoes and feet. I felt so dirty and sticky I had to wash my feet and shoes off multiple times

Excellent Choice for the North KC/Platte City area

We selected Orangewood based upon the reviews. They were on target. The rooms were clean and all the employees were courteous and just plain nice. It is very convenient to the airport and has 24 hour shuttle service. My only complaint (not a big one): how about cinnamon rolls for breakfast? Also the price for our week-long stay was one-half of the other hotels in the area.

The first night i I stayed there I took my shoes off when I got to the room and got a metal shaving in my foot, then my second stay when I got back from vacation I got back late in the morning (1am) and the first two rooms I was givin had someone in them. I loved the breakfast and the transportation from the hotel and to the hotel from the airport. Overall it was a decent stay.

The hotel was a great stay for an early morning flight the next day. The shuttle was there on time for the airport and got us there in 10 minutes. Checking in, the front desk attendant, Lucy, was very helpful, friendly and accomodating to our needs. Beds were comfortable & pillows way better than most! Great stay.

We checked in around 3 on monday night, at 1230am, we had someone enter our room, then the front deskwd callwd verifying who i was and when i checked in, at 1230 in rhe morning, then he tells us it was a glitch in the system. That is one helluva glitch
