Loved this place

My family and I just loved this house. The heated pool during the day was an added bonus! We fished off the dock every single morning/midday/night and we caught so many ribbon fish which we had never caught before. They were a lot of fun! Galveston is just a short drive from the house. We loved the house and location so much that we booked another stay there for the very next weekend while sitting in the hot tub on our last night. Winter was very responsive and immediately answered any questions we had. I highly recommend this house.

Living it Up on Labor Day!!

What a fantastic time!! This house is everything! It was perfect four our three families. The house was just as described - so clean and came with everything you need to cook and have fun! The kitchen was stocked with all needed cooking appliances including general seasoning items and coffee. The rooms were absolutely lovely with comfortable beds and pillows. The outdoors has everything you would need from people ages 4 and up. The pool, which had so many noodles and other accessories, was amazing and located such that we had a great view of the canal so the kids could play and say hello to the boaters passing by. The kayaks were fun and easy to use. And the outdoor balconies gave us views that will live in our minds and hearts forever. It was a splendid time and best of all, the owner was super responsive and tended to our every need. It was a magical weekend!

Our mini family vacay

The property is awesome! The host was very nice and responded quickly. We all enjoyed the house, the pool, the hot tub and the fishing deck. The AC worked great. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Communication with manager was fabulous!

We had a couple of hiccups that were unavoidable and management was fabulous and responded quickly. Most of the kitchen dishes were not clean so we washed everything before we used it. I would guess that was due to dishwasher not working great but cleaning staff should have checked dishes while they put up.

Exceeded expectations

Everyone had a great time! The property definitely exceeded our expectations and had so much outdoor space. Also, the activities were above and beyond we had so much fun fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and just enjoying the view that we could’ve stayed a whole week there not left the property..

Winter vacay

The house was very nice and the property mgrs responded very quickly. The underwater lights for fishing didnt work' the control panel for the spa didnt work and there were issues with the dryer. But the view was great and the house was nice.

Christmas Vacation

We traveled for a quick vacay at Christmas. There were plenty of places for our party to sleep but it was harder for us to find indoor places to sit together to open presents and such. We had a few issues with the pool, but my concerns were addressed and communication was good. I would stay here again in the summer.

Wonderful respite

We had a lovely time! Once we arrived we didn't want to leave and just wanted to enjoy the wonderful outdoor space. Being able to fish right off the dock was amazing! Caught all kinds of fish even a couple of stingray. Communication with the management company was spot on....they were very quick to respond to anything that came up. Definitely hope to be back and enjoy again!

Property is not maintained well

Our code to get in the house would not work on arrival. Only half of the burners on the stove were operable. We took the kayak out and it sank. It was repaired before and the seam on the bottom was cracked and took on water. The patio furniture was so tattered we would not even set in it. The ice maker on the fridge did not work. The jets on the hot tub do not work. This is not an 800+ per night house.

Getaway

The house is in a great location! It has a really nice view and plenty of room for our group of 8. Nice pool with an adjacent pool room with washer & dryer, fridge small shower, sink and toilet. It also doubled as a very cute hangout room. Unfortunately the smell made it impossible for our teens to enjoy that room. The upstairs was very nice and all the bedrooms were a nice size. Broken tiles in the living room might pose a problem. Please throw away the patio set upstairs on the deck it is virtually unusable & makes a bad first impression. Having said all that we had a great time and I would give it a solid 4 stars.

House was nice and well decorated. The pool was fun also had fun fishing, did catch some fish. The life jackets was a plus for when we used the kayaks. Scenery is just beautiful off the patio and boat dock. Just a few issues, we had to be careful walking in one spot where some tiles was loose and broken near kitchen they moved around when you step on them. The grill was a little to dirty, so we decided not to use it. The door was difficult to open, we all tried the coded didn’t work, after calling the house manager about the door she told us where to get the key to get in, she contacted maintenance to help with door, maintenance got back a little to late so we just used the key the property manager told us to use to let ourselves in the rest of the stay. The patio furniture right up the stairs, didn’t look to safe and appealing to sit on and enjoy. Other then the few issues we had a good time

Perfect place for our family

My husband, boys, their friends, and our maltipoo all enjoyed this home! From the spacious home, pool and hot tub, to the kayaks, there was no need to ever leave the house!

Overall great stay with options for everyone

the overall experience was great. Small hiccup checking in when our access code did not work but manager had us inside in less than 5 min. Requested pool to be warmed on arrival but found it was still cold/warming when we arrived but again manager was very nice and promptly helped us get the pool temp increased. The view from the pool and deck is awesome and very peaceful. Had a good time fishing off back deck well but couldnt figure out how get the under water green lights working however we still had a great time and would highly recommend. Clean, comfortable, everything you want in a fishing/beach vacay.

The location and house was perfect for us.

The grandchildren loved playing in the pool and the men enjoyed fishing off the dock. The use of the paddle boards and kayaks just topped it off. We will definitely be coming back again!
