Stunning Riverfront Estate with Pool and Dock
Summary: Look no further for the vacation rental you have been dreaming of! Stunning riverfront estate with boat dock, direct gulf access, and large heated pool. Situated on an oversized lot directly adjacent to the Caloosahatchee River and less than a ten minute boat ride to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico, this residence will be perfect for those looking to get some time on the water or looking for a quiet home with a beautiful view, salt breeze, and pool to boot!
The Space: The residence itself is a three bedroom, four bath, 2,600 square foot home in the Iona-McGregor District of Fort Myers. Extremely close to shopping, fantastic restaurants, Sanibel/Captiva, and Fort Myers Downtown as well as beaches, guests will enjoy an extremely central location while also benefitting from the quiet and tranquil location of this home on a dead end private street with upscale homes and mostly seasonal residents. As an added perk, as one can see in the pictures, this home has no direct neighbors, with the exception of one house that sits on the other side of this home's south driveway.
This property was almost entirely renovated/refinished since the hurricane. Guests will be among the very first to experience the home following these improvements.
In terms of the amenities, this home comes abundant with them. The large heated pool is heart shaped with an ornate tile rendering of a Sailboat Captain on the bottom and is situated amongst a gorgeous rock wall with water feature. Both are surrounded by a recently refinished pool cage and feature expansive views of the Caloosahatchee River. The lanai of the home features seating for multiple guests and also boasts expansive views of the river. Accessible from the living room or master bedroom, it's location within the home is central as well. There is also a BBQ grill and outdoor meal preparation area set back slightly from the pool, where guests can prepare gourmet meals or entertain others while on vacation.
In terms of kitchen, this home features a fully equipped kitchen with everything guests will require to cook meals during their stay, large or small. There is also a four top dining table adjacent to the kitchen for enjoying intimate meals with guests. Off of the kitchen is an expansive living room with Smart TV and views of the Caloosahatchee River, with updated lighting and new high-end furniture. Off of the kitchen in the other direction is a second living area with a cute renovated reading nook and chic tea room set off of the lanai and master bedroom.
In terms of bedrooms, the home features three large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and King/King/Queen configurations, respectively for master, guest 1, and guest 2 bedrooms. All bedrooms feature new frames and mattresses. All bathrooms are shower/tub combinations except for two, these being a walk-in shower and soaking tub configuration. The home also features a large loft area which can function as an office or as a fourth bedroom, with a twin sized fold out bed. It also has its own door that can be closed off to function like a bedroom if guests so desire.
This home is pet friendly for 1 dog under 60 lbs, please declare on your reservation whether you will be bringing a dog with you and indicate the breed on your reservation. If you intend on bringing more than one dog or a dog who weighs more than 40 lbs, we kindly request that you seek our approval prior to making your reservation as exceptions can be made on a case by case basis. Pet fee of $100 per pet, please contact us to arrange to make the pet fee payment.

We really enjoyed our week on the water. We recently bought a new boat and wanted to stay somewhere on the water to celebrate my husband birthday. Here are a few things that I feel could be improved on:
1. Get the tile grout cleaned
2. Inform guests that the ice maker doesn't work so they are prepared to buy ice and bring coolers.
3. Inform guests exactly what you don't supply. I asked what kind of coffee maker it had and was informed that is was a regular drip. So I brought ground coffee but there were no filters.
4. Need more than one dish towel in kitchen.
5. If someone is staying a week or longer, the two dishwasher tablets, mini dish soap and one paper towel does not last.
6. There was no laundry soap.
7. Buy better toilet paper. It was paper thin and useless.
8. Make sure garbage is removed prior to new guests checking in. Garbage day is Wednesday and we checked in on a Friday and the garbage can was overflowing in the garage and had magets.
Thank goodness there was a Publix right down the street because I had to buy ice, coffee filters, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tablets and laundry soap.

This was a great place for our stay after surgery. All on one floor with very spacious rooms. Enclosed pool and patio area was also a plus
