Filthy room and hall area. Mold on the ceiling and wall. Trash bin in hall near room full and literally overflowing. Hair from previous guest left all over the bathroom. Please DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL; YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Two stars-one for the beach access and one for the pool (even though it is not heated nor family friendly on the weekend). Parking is $10 per day; something not known beforehand or that they mentioned when I called to inquire about parking. The room had holes in the ceiling and walls, the floor lamp was a fire hazard and the bathroom faucet wasn't connected. The a/c cover wasn't attached & the balcony was covered in cement drops. It took them 24 hrs to clean the dog pee out of the stairwell (after telling the front desk 3 times). When we checked out, the clerk said NOTHING to us. Don't be fooled by the pictures, Choice Hotels should be embarrassed to be associated with this place.

This hotel is under construction. Elevators out of service, pool area closed, missing paint on all of the walls, hallways unfinished floors etc. staff unprofessional. Parking garage is across and down the street so be prepared to carry your bags. Tv in the room didn’t work. I would avoid booking here until renovations are complete

Unhealthy stay
The Hotel needs a lot of repairs. What repairs they have done are very messy work. There was trash from repairs everywhere. There is no way they can have that place ready for the summer season. Which starts next month. I won't be staying there ever again. Also the right elevator on the right wing makes a lot of bad noises and jerks.

OMG, I literally walked into the room and walked right back out. There was no way I would be able to sleep in this dust-filled, stained sofa room with no flooring and total construction outside the door complete with concrete dust being swept up at night causing choking on the fine particles. Disgusting.

I liked that you have alot of things to do, i didn't like that when you needed something and you called the front desk, they tell you that someone is going to bring and they never do, but ur the one that has to walk and get it, when you paid to stay there

This property was a complete joke! First off, we arrived there at a little after 3pm. (check in is at 4) I had asked for an early check in and was told they do not offer an early check in (even though on the site it states they do for a fee). So we returned at 4. Once check in we found the hotel was under construction (not pre-stated on the site) But found the conditions to be utterly disgusting! The halls not under construction stained and littered. The parts under construction had waste and material just thrown about (creating a hazard). We found the stairwell the leads to our floor from the boardwalk had no lock to the outside and there were water bottles, beer cans and even socks littered at the bottom inside the door. The room itself was ok (not horrible) but the A/C would not work and they sent a gentleman up who got it working with a coat hanger. Our balcony was cover with plaster from the ongoing construction. To top it off the staff was not very pleasant. I expect so much more from a national chain such as Quality Inn, ESPECIALLY one being located at the Virginia Beach Ocean Front!!! We took photos of everything and would be happy to share them with anyone.

I was not informed the hotel was under renovation.Construction dump site was parked along the driveway of the hotel.The hotel entrance front door was not working.The hotel should not accept reservation while repair is ongoing for safety reason.Buffet breakfast was good.

Where do I begin, first the property never stated it was under remodel, the place was a complete dump, pictures of stains on the couch, stains on walls and cig butts in sink and the smell of smoke for the 2 days I had let them know we have to change rooms but they said they were sold out, if I had a chance to get another hotel I would have.We sucked it up but super disappointed in the hotel, I know of others that were disgusted

It would have been nice to know in advance that a big part of the hotel was under construction. The floors to our room was concrete the walls were sheetrock. Our room was fine except no couch as pictures showed (just a big empty spot). We asked about it and was told we didnt have one because of the construction. Bathroom shower had no shelf/place to put shampoo etc. Bathroom outlet did not work. Staff around hotel was friendly front desk not as much.

Major renovations
This place was going through major renovations on the exterior when we stayed. It didn’t affect our stay much other than it didn’t look great. Our room was clean and comfy. The free breakfast was a nice touch. They did seem to have items out in the open that needed to be placed in storage. I’m sure this place will be a lot better once everything is complete.
