"Great location - Great Service"
My wife and I stayed 5 nights on a holiday in Sydney. The check in staff and concierge were very helpful and went out of their way in helping us choose destinations daily and arranging tours. The room was very clean and maintained well throughout our stay. We were overcharged once for room service but it was quickly resolved when we questioned the charge. Best of all, the location was superb; a short walk to Darling Harbor, about 15 min to the Quay, Harbor Bridge and the Opera House. Town Hall station was a quick walk. It is an expensive hotel but you get a good room, great location and service.

"Nice hotel close to the International Airport "
We stayed in a Suite on the 10th floor. Overall, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We ordered room service a couple of times and the food was delish! I Recommend the hotel if you'd like to be near the airport and downtown.

"Great Location"
Overall staying here was nice. It was quite expensive at $192 AUD for one night that was on sale... but I guess everything in Sydney is expensive. The room was very small and tight, and having two huge luggages made it a pain to maneuver around the room (I'd just moved out of my apartment). If you're on a business trip with one small luggage, then it should be just fine. The room came with free wi-fi, tv, and movies! The movies were up to date and not some random old movies you've never heard about, so that was nice. I had trouble connecting to wifi because the hotspot wouldn't pop up to let me log in, but I eventually was able to get in after a couple of frustrating hours. The bathroom was nice and the little travel sized shampoo/conditioners/soaps smelled like lemongrass and happiness :-) Staff was nice but I thought they could've been better. My room was not ready so they told me to come back. I asked if they could call me when my room was ready but they never called me. Also it'd be nice if they had someone help with bags? because I really struggled with my two gigantic luggages. The hotel is literally one street away from Wynyard station which made traveling easy! Overall nice hotel!

"Two week Sydney Holiday at the Blu Radisson Hotel!"
Wonderful two week holiday! Second time time there. Hotel is perfectly located. Minutes from the Rocks and Circular Quay, centrally located CBD and only approximately ten to fifteen minutes from Darling Harbor at a brisk pace...a good fifteen to Chinatown. Easy access to catch a bus with an Opsl card to Bondi Beach. Just hop a Ferry to Manly Beach which will be your favorite like it was ours! Fun shopping and food. Chinatown has great shopping deals...the best actually. I spent $3,000 and half of the trinkets I bought were exactly the same as on the bottom floor of their Paddings Market open Wednesday thru Sunday...but only on the bottom floor...you can barter with the shop keepers. The other good place to shop is in the Rocks off of George Street on Saturday or Sunday when they have their outdoor Market and in their shops. Educate yourself before you buy an opal...everyone has doubles and triplets...you want to buy the boulders and solid opals which you can do...for the same price but you have to be a good shopper and look and look and barter. We love to shop and went and did the top twenty five tours in Sydney. The hop on and off bus ride tour for two in a half hours is a great way to start and economical. The bridge walk is over priced so only do the sampler...not worth more than that. I only paid $105 on Viator vs the $158 to $398 they ask for. Definitely see take a Harbor Cruise over to Tarango Zoo, See the Aquarrium, see Chinatown and the Chinese Garden.

    Sydney Hotel & Travel Guide

This bustling and beautiful coastal metropolis has earned a worldwide reputation for livability. Sydney is Australia's oldest and most sophisticated city, serving as a financial center for the Asia Pacific region while also offering exceptional natural parks. The best hotels in Sydney will provide you with stunning views of the harbor, featuring the iconic curves of the famous Opera House and arching Harbor Bridge. With its sunny, comfortable weather year-round, you'll be able to enjoy Sydney's natural beauty and rich cultural offerings just by stepping out of your accommodations.

    Out and About in Sydney

Hotels near the Australian Botanic Gardens will place you close to one of Sydney's most lovely and historic attractions. The gardens have been in existence for 200 years, and they feature more than 7,000 different species of plants. From these gardens, you will be able to follow a maintained walkway to the harbor itself. Once at the waterside, you can catch a ferry ride under the Sydney Harbour Bridge and view the Opera House in its most perfect form.

Sydney is unusual among big cities for its abundance of wildlife. In addition to a whole array of general nature parks and zoos, it features a Koala Park Sanctuary and even whale-watching tours. Hotels close to shopping in Sydney may also provide glimpses of the crested cockatoos and rainbow lorikeets that thrive in this urban environment.

    Eating and Drinking

Like any major city, Sydney has nearly unlimited opportunities for food, drink, and evening entertainment. Various private operators offer brewery and craft beer tours, while you can also choose among many options for day tours to wine country. For pure elegance, make a reservation at one of Sydney's top-rated restaurants. Scallops, passion-fruit souffle, and other exceptional dishes are served with impeccable attentiveness. Most cheap hotels in Sydney can recommend great deals on inexpensive ethnic foods.

If you have business that brings you Down Under, or you simply don't want to miss out on one of the world's important cities, check Travelocity's extensive listings for Sydney hotels.
