A great semi-budget hotel in a perfect location!

Check-in was easy and we were given a WONDERFUL room with great views of the city across Hyde Park. The room itself was also very spacious and had a nice sized balcony (although we didn't have much time to use it). The hot tub and pool on the roof had amazing views. We used the hot tub both nights and it was the perfect was to relax after a long day.

This is the second stay at this property. I recommend it as it is clean, close to transport, walkable to city and groceries. The only complaint I had this visit was the fact that my 2 x balcony doors did not lock. This was reported to the front desk. Otherwise I would stay here again.

Entire building is tired and smells of cigarettes. Dishwasher in my room had distractingly large 'out of order' sign on dishwasher. Did not provide a compliant tax invoice with GST - tried to claim that a 2-day stay was input taxed.

Location was great. Living space was large. Bathroom was very small. The rooms/halls are due to be updated. Pool/hot tub area was nice. We would stay here again due to proximity to everything.

Great location in Sydney. Walkable to Opera house or Darling Harbor. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Kids loved the rooftop pool and hot tub. Was a little cool in July so they spent most of the time in the hot tub. Rooms were not as nice as the pictures and had stained furniture. They may have updated some rooms but the ones we had were old and the hallways had scuffed walls and didn’t seem well kept. They were doing construction on the 15th floor and it woke up our kids and we were on the 13th floor. Our group on the 11th floor said they could hear the noise as well. If you are expecting rooms to be as nice as the pictures you may be disappointed like we were.

Fair, needs an upgrade.

This is in a very convenient location however the hotel is starting to show it's age with it's shabby carpeting and much needed paintwork. View across to Hyde Park is lovely but hard to see through the windows which really needed cleaning. Minimal kitchen equipment supplied, one pot with a broken handle is not quite good enough although it was instantly replaced upon request, and the staff were pleasant to deal with. No tissues, no pen or paper provided and no ability to download a movie through Netflix, etc to a non-intuitive Tv. A bit frustrating at the end of a busy day when I only wanted to just sit back and relax. Comfortable bed, nice size apartment and a clean but very ageing bathroom with a step over bath and no grip bars for support. A mixed bag, really only a fair standing but the convenience of location does have it's advantages

The rooms were a bit worn but had all the standard amenities and everything worked. The rooftop was a standout. Beautiful spa with fabulous views over the city. Pool & gym were great too. Hotel was in a good spot with loads of cafes and restaurants nearby
