"This was an amazing setting, in front of a pond, With chairs on the deck to enjoy nature and its serenity and the trees all around, relatively private. Full-size kitchen, one shower, but two powder rooms. Full-size refrigerator and stove, Nice size, dining room, table and chairs, a good sized living room, The beds were comfortable. I loved the gas fireplace. Wi-Fi and TV in the unit. Everything was clean. I wished I could stay here for more than just one night. The only issue was I couldn’t find a cutting board. And I feel there could be better signs to get to the unit, once on the grounds because it is large. I found it no problem, but I wasn’t sure if I was going the right way at certain intersections once on the property. The ground seem to be well maintained. They have horses on the grounds nearby. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Nice place, but you see that it has not fully recovered since Helen storm. I believe the owners make everything they can so you fell welcome, but the local restaurant is closed the blue ridge parkway is still close around as well. Close by there is the NC mineral museum , even if it is not big it is worth visiting , and not to fare away there is Linville Falls that are worth checking"
