"2 night stay in late July-hsbnd-wfe-over 65. 5th flr room with balcony. Check in was ok. You will have to Valet park. $50.00 per day+tip. Don't leave anything you may need in your vehicle. The room was fine. Average non-suite size. Balcony was small but we did manage to get a couple chairs on it. We would sit and watch the action on river street. The hotel is located in the heart of the downtown action with a great view of the river and it's boats and large ships. Plenty of great food and drink withing walking distance. The interior of the hotel is amazing. Like stepping back in time. It wasn't too busy at this time so there was no wait for anything you wanted to do. No free breakfast or pool/hot tub but we didn't really miss it. This was our 2nd time visiting Savannah and it was as good as the first. Would for sure stay here again!"

"Everything thing about this hotel is great except for the walk from the hotel to the shops on River St. It is within walking distance but it is not a short walk. There is a water taxi (DOT) but it stop transport at night. Other than that. The hotel its self has everything you would need. Beauty place."

"We enjoyed our brief stay. The walkability was excellent. Very short strolls to excellent restaurants, historic sites and the river all in the midst of the historic district was exactly what we were looking for. Hotel was clean and staff friendly and welcoming. Would stay again."
