We stopped in Tybee for one day to check out area. Great location, short walk to beach and local shops & restaurants. Old run down property and rooms were not very clean, especially the floors. Check in is at 4 but they will let you come at 3 without additional fee. Hotel was empty so not sure why we couldn't check in sooner without paying an extra $50.

Upon arrival to our room we immediately noticed drywall dust and fragments all over various areas within our room and water in the bathroom floor. This was brought to the attention of the front desk staff and it was asked that someone clean the room while we were out for the evening seeing the island…..no one ever came nor was it cleaned once during our entire stay. Was forced to forfeit our last nights stay due to unsafe conditions within and around the hotel after waking up with our entire floor smelling like marijuana and other guests walking up and down the hallways with boom boxes. Was advised by the manager that it was a PUBLIC AREA and nothing could be done. Needless to say we will never return to this property if not the entire island.

I hate to give bad reviews, this bad review is well deserved. This hotel is not directly on the beach - there is a public parking lot between the beach and the hotel. The last night of my family vacation the staff called the police on my husband for standing in the public parking lot for over an hour while smoking a cigar. I walked into the lobby behind one of the police officers to get more towels (because this hotel does not have housekeeping no clean towels are delivered to your room) and was listening to their conversation and the staff member knew that the person in question was staying at her motel because she knew exactly what room my husband was staying in before the officer mentioned the wrong room number. This hotel needs some security of its own before calling the police on people that are staying in their hotel. The staff was very rude to me after I spoke to the police officer in the lobby (the Tybee Island police could not have been any nicer and was very respectful to my husband and I and apologized for the KAREN that called in to complain). I was told that there was no clean towels or wash clothes anywhere in the hotel and clean ones would be brought in the morning - which we never got. The evening shift staff was just rude and unhelpful. The asst gen manager suggested a refund of approx $100, but after speaking with her and dealing with her attitude I told them to keep their refund and that I hope to never have to deal with them again.

Great location less than a min walk from the beach. We had ocean view balcony. They do make you pay a resort/amenities fee ours was 203 for 5 day and that’s because they put 2 beach towels and a couple beach chair in each room. We don’t have anyone clean our room the entire time we were there idk why they don’t we had to go to the desk and ask for fresh towels and stuff. Plenty of parking. Has elevator. It’s undergoing some renovation but that didn’t bother us. Plenty of handicap accessible parking.

Nice view. Not quite as clean as I’d have liked. The main elevator was broken, so we had to take one to the third floor, then trek down the hall to either the stairs or the service elevator which was in the corridor where they threw the trash and laundry. That was kind of gross. Didn’t use the pool, so I can’t speak on that. I guess overall, you get what you pay for. It was one of the least expensive hotels that still had a nice ocean view, so it worked.

First the property is in desperate need of remodeling! Air conditioners are extremely old and noisy. The restaurants in the area aren’t fully staffed there is NO restaurant or even snack bar on property. This is a Motel NOT a Hotel!
