Staff greeting us we're very friendly and helpful as was the check in clerk. The room itself has a kitchen but no silverware or dishes. The room needed dusting especially the lamps. there was a lot of noise from upstairs and then the people next door had a dog that was yapping for a while. the location is okay, close to the riverfront but there isn't really much down there except souvenir shops wnd bars. Lots of steps and cobblestone to deal with. Would stay closer into the historic district next time

Oversized room comfortable bed and happy hour with wine and simple snacks The street outside can be a little noisy, but they even provide headphones if the noise continues when you’re ready to go Oh, and did I mention the ice cream sandwich in your freezer? Conveniently located, friendly, helpful staff and a classic old building comfortably remodeled, everything I wanted in a hotel in Savannah

Our interactions with the front desk staff and the parking attendant were good; they were friendly, helpful and courteous. However, our room was not great. We chose the king room with a balcony and river view. When we walked in, there was a very strong musty smell, the room finish was run down and the person who cleaned the room failed to supply soap and left dirty coffee cups and glasses on the counter. We were supposed to stay for three nights but we checked out one day earlier and went to a different hotel. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was Expedia's rating of "Exceptional". I think this description is totally inaccurate.

We were celebrating our anniversary of 44 years. From the time we checked in the service was amazing. The room had water and ice cream for our enjoyment. Each day if staff was outside or walking bye, we were greeted. We had a beautiful view of the Harbour. We didn't have to go far to get something to eat. Thanks for a great weekend.
