"Very accommodating"
Omni staff was one of the best I've ever experienced and I am used to high-end hotel/resort properties. Everyone from the front desk to the maids were extremely accommodating and at your service at every turn.

"Great Location"
The location was great. We didn't spend much time at the hotel, so I can't say anything about the amenities. We were there only 2 nights. I will say I wish the bathroom counter top was bigger.

"Wow!! "
I thought Travelocity only offered leftover cheap rooms. Our room at Lowes Regency San Francisco was 5 star in comfort (pillows and bedding so soft!) and the Bridge to Bridge view was spectacular! The room service and restaurant food was excellent! The Entire staff was very courteous and friendly.

"Cute vintage hotel "
It's a cute hotel, room was small but clean and comfy beds. Hotel offers no breakfast or room service but everything is walking distance. The attached restaurant is good but pricey and not a place for kids due to long waiting for service and food. The gym had two treadmills both broken. Two ellipticals one broken and the other slightly made some bumping noise. The parking is pricey and 50 - day for an SUV size vehicle. However the staff in the garage are the fastest workers I've seen, pretty much no waiting for your car, they were very friendly too. The location is great. Two or three blocks from cable car and main shopping.

"1st time in San Francisco"
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We were surprised to be able to check in early! The only disappointment was the mattress felt like we were sleeping on springs.

"HOLIDAY STAY"
This is an older hotel with lots of charm. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, however if you are light sleeper like I am, request a room away from the street as it was a little noisy. We would definitely go back again.

"Not very profesional. "
They did not have our room reserved available. So they put us in 2 seperate rooms that were borderline amd in need of repair. Then they moved us to our room the second day without telling us. So the whole thing was very unsettling.

"Very quaint comfortable Victorian hotel. "
Rooms are small, but that adds to the charm. Plenty of room for sleeping and showering. One of the cleanest hotels I have been in in a long while. It was a delightful 6 days. Very close to much fun shopping, and cable car and street cars. Though it is not this hotel's problem, it would be even better if the city of San Fransisco would take care of the mentally ill, and clean up Mission Street.

"I really like the area where the hotel is located."
The park in front of the water is great for walking, is safe even if you are alone. The restaurants near by are very good to eat at. The only problem we had was due to the maids. We had a late afternoon flight, so it was great to have until 12 to check out. But from 9:30 on, the maid kept coming back to clean the room....why have a 12 pm check out if you are bothered by the maid to get out?? We have stayed at this hotel before & enjoyed it. Management needs to address this issue.

"Definitely a good value for SF Downtown"
I stayed at the HV for 4 nights while attending a conference. I managed to walk to the convention center & back (about a 15 min brisk walk each way) so no complaints there! The room was clean, very quiet, spacious, equipped with a refrigerator, wide screen TV (no HBO or pay TV!) & decent/new bathroom fixtures/bath robes. Free internet worked well but my room had almost no cell phone reception (if you have Verizon you should be OK!) as it was located at the back of the building facing taller adjacent structures. Various eateries including one of my favorites (Le Colonial) are withing a few blocks of the hotel. The central air system is antiquated & does not have a thermostat (only an ON or OFF setting!!).
