UNA Hotel Roma

Via Giovanni Amendola, 57, Rome - Map
"Great Time at UNA"
The UNA Hotel is a great hotel. It is centrally located in the heart of Rome, and is a three minute walk from the city's main Terminal (Roma Termini), which provides train service to and from Fiumicino Airport, other Italian cities, along with the metro and bus service for commuting throughout the city. The hotel is well equipped with a good restaurant and bar. From the hotel my wife and I walked to the following attractions: Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Spagna, Roman Forum, Circo Massimo, Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori. We took the metro to visit St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican Museum, and Castel Sant' Angelo. There are several good restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The hotel staff was fantastic. Upon checking in, the clerk gave us a city map and outlined all the major attrations. That proved to be extremely helpful. We upgraded upon checking-in to a room with a patio for an extra 10 Euros a day, and it was well worth the additional cost. The room was small but very accomodating, and the bed was very comfortable. Because the hotel is so close to Termini station, you will see some unsavory characters but don't fret. There are always many people, mostly tourists, in the area so you shouldn't feel unsafe. It's no different than being in New York City. The positives of staying at the UNA Hotel far outweigh any negatives. In fact, I would highly recommend anyone looking to visit Rome to consider staying at the UNA.

"Very helpful staff, mediocre facility"
The location was great, very close to the train and subway stations and walkable to many Roman attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions, printing out our train tickets, and giving recommendations. The room was clean but small (which I understand is typical), the shower was very small, and the beds were uncomfortable.

"Great Modern Hotel"
This hotel was very modern, nicely styled, clean with good size rooms and bathrooms. It was very comparable to a 4 star US hotel. The location is great as you are able to walk to most of the historic sights and the train/metro station is close by. There are many charming restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel. We were extremely happy with our 8 night stay and would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

"Outstanding, central location with excellent staff"
The hotel is located within two blocks of Piazza di Populo making it convenient for tours, Metro and the Borghese Gardens. We were very pleased with the amazing "happy hour" spread, helpful staff and beautifully decorated room.

"Good service"
The rooms are quite big and they have been remodeled with new bathroom fixtures.  Very nice amenities.  Roof top restaurant had a beautiful view of Rome.  Unfortunately, they did not have any 110v electrical converters.  Front desk service was very friendly.

"Wonderful stay in Rome"
Arrived much earlier than check in time, with a scheduled excursion. The staff was very kind and quickly assisted with the many bags we had accumulated over a three week trip. They spoke great English and provided precise directions to our required destination. Upon our return from the day tour, they informed, our luggage had been placed in our upgraded room! Yes, they had upgraded the room simply because a larger room was available and we had extra baggage! The room was by far the best room in our four weeks in all of Italy! All staff members at the hotel were exceptional!
