"Very helpful staff, mediocre facility"
The location was great, very close to the train and subway stations and walkable to many Roman attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions, printing out our train tickets, and giving recommendations. The room was clean but small (which I understand is typical), the shower was very small, and the beds were uncomfortable.

"Hotel Diocleziano "
My husband and I stayed there for four days touring Rome prior to our cruise. We loved this hotel. It is small not too many rooms. Our room was comfortable and roomy. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and offered a nice variety of breakfast items. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We never heard any noise from adjoirning rooms. The location is on a side street so there is not heavy traffic and is within walking distance of the Termini rail and bus station. Truly enjoyed our stay there.

"Great Modern Hotel"
This hotel was very modern, nicely styled, clean with good size rooms and bathrooms. It was very comparable to a 4 star US hotel. The location is great as you are able to walk to most of the historic sights and the train/metro station is close by. There are many charming restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel. We were extremely happy with our 8 night stay and would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

"Good location, Not all rooms are renovated"
This hotel is between the Trevi Fountain and the Train Station, we spent most evenings near the fountain. Good location. The rooms shown online are renovated, but not all rooms are up-to-date. Some staff had trouble with English.

UNA Hotel Roma

Via Giovanni Amendola, 57, Rome - Map
"Great Time at UNA"
The UNA Hotel is a great hotel. It is centrally located in the heart of Rome, and is a three minute walk from the city's main Terminal (Roma Termini), which provides train service to and from Fiumicino Airport, other Italian cities, along with the metro and bus service for commuting throughout the city. The hotel is well equipped with a good restaurant and bar. From the hotel my wife and I walked to the following attractions: Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Spagna, Roman Forum, Circo Massimo, Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori. We took the metro to visit St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican Museum, and Castel Sant' Angelo. There are several good restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The hotel staff was fantastic. Upon checking in, the clerk gave us a city map and outlined all the major attrations. That proved to be extremely helpful. We upgraded upon checking-in to a room with a patio for an extra 10 Euros a day, and it was well worth the additional cost. The room was small but very accomodating, and the bed was very comfortable. Because the hotel is so close to Termini station, you will see some unsavory characters but don't fret. There are always many people, mostly tourists, in the area so you shouldn't feel unsafe. It's no different than being in New York City. The positives of staying at the UNA Hotel far outweigh any negatives. In fact, I would highly recommend anyone looking to visit Rome to consider staying at the UNA.

"Nice hotel in good location"
The hotel staff was excellent. We were greeted in English and everything was as expected. There were two nights when we could hear music coming from an adjacent building, but it did not last too long. We had drips coming from our air conditioner one day but it was immediately fixed when we notified the staff. This hotel is near the train station. This made it easy to take a day trip to Florence. If you walk a couple of blocks off the beaten path, you will find excellent restaurants at better prices than those that are near the tourist attractions.

Hotel Delle Nazioni

Via Poli 7, Rome - Map
"Great location in City"
Clean room, comfortable bed, clean room and great location, about 10 yds from the Trevi Fountain. Recommend cab from train station, although it can be walked. Lots to do in the neighborhood, cafe's and wine bars and shopping. Cab ride to vatican and coloseum recommended. Don't get a car while in Rome, can pick one up near the train station and drop it off at the airport if traveling around Italy. Hotel staff helpful, fully fluent in English. Cabs waiting outside hotel if you need one. Also close to the bus line and on/off bus tours. Not convenient to the Metro,
