The proximity to the train station is great! It is also walkable to most other main attractions - 1-2 miles. The hotel is very beautiful inside - the restaurant and courtyard are fantastic! Breakfast included is great, would have been nice if there were more choices or alternating choices. We were there in April, so the heating/cooling was hit or miss. Too warm, but air wasn't on yet. Also there was some pretty strong smells in our room - a little like sewer and the street noises were loud if the windows were open :( Overall it was a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice old hotel, the standard room was very small but the bed was very large and comfortable. Free buffet breakfast was tasty but not excessive. Automated coffee machines made a pretty good cappuccino fast. Easy to walk to any tourist hot spot in old Rome. Metro and train to airport within a few blocks of the hotel.

I loved the outdoor garden and breakfast that was served. The small salon rooms next to the bar were quite elegant. I did not like that the main lobby was closed for conferences for several days during my stay which meant that I could not relax, or read or have a drink in the main lobby area where there was a fire place.

The staff is very nice, especially the housekeeping staff. The hotel is in downtown Rome and an easy walk to the Colosseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. It is a very large hotel.

Horrible Experience at the Hotel Quirinale

This was our first time to Rome, Italy. We worked & saved our money all year for this trip. Upon arrival, we were not greeted with a smile or a welcome to said hotel and country. It appear that the guests were just a number and the staff were they to take your money. Feel very unwelcome. We stayed there for six nights and each night the room next door were banging on our walls between 2:30am and 3:30am while we were sleeping. I purposely stayed up to record it one night. See video below. We barely got any sleep and the hotel night manager did absolutely nothing to stop it when I complained & showed him the recording, but apologize. No calls were received the next day to us nor after concerning the incident. Another incident was when we went to breakfast at the hotel for the first time. we were very thirsty so we took a bottle of water to our table when one of the staff said loudly in front of all the guests “You are NOT allowed to do that, put it back.” We were very embarrassed as everyone looked at us in disgust. We put it back , never returned and purchased water. She could have said it quietly. When we checked out nobody said anything about how our stay was but mentioned the country tax and there need for your credit card to satisfy that balance. I am incredibly dissatisfied with the hotel staff unprofessional, discourteous and Ineptness regarding what is considered an imminent incident that affected our psyche. I left Hotel Quirinale more stressed than when I arrived.

Wonderful hotel and nice location

Pros: Huge room and great breakfast.
Location: For our family it was walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Rome.
This was our first trip to Rome, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff at the hotel were great, and the breakfast was way more than we expected. I would highly recommend the Jr. Suite for anyone traveling with family. The room and bathroom are huge, plenty of space. The hotel was close to the train station so the next time we stay we will take the Express Train from the airport.
