The room was beautifully decorated, and extras were appreciated! The location close to Trastevere was beautiful. I found the noise in the middle of the nighttime from outside and neighbours to be very loud so ended up using ear plugs. But the price was perfect! Would recommend for sound sleepers.

We stayed in the family apartment. I had read lots of reviews on the lighthouse suites generally which were all fantastic, but I think those must relate more to the main rooms which are in a different part of the building. The building is a multi story apartment building of old Italian style complete with iron gates and iron elevator. It’s cute and characterful. The owner was fantastic with communication in advance and during and couldn’t have done more to help with transfers and ideas etc… the apartment itself was a bit disappointing though. It wasn’t especially well cleaned and one room had a huge mould patch on the wall which is a health hazard. There is a general damp problem which you can see in the walls and the smell whenever you go in. One bedroom can’t really be ventilated as only one high up window on a pulley. The other room does have a window but you didn’t want to leave it open long because of mosquitos in the courtyard. They could do with mozzie grills over the windows so you can ventilate. There was also a strong drain smell in one room and also the courtyard. Likely more a building issue but still not nice. On a positive the kitchen was well stocked with a coffee machine, fridge and microwave and crockery/glasses/mugs. Although it wasn’t really a communal place you could sit with a glass of wine and relax. The bathrooms were new and although bijou, well done and well stocked with toiletries and thoughtful touches. If they could sort the damp it would be great

Stay was not as great as I am used to. Absolutely no service or wifi in the back room on arrival. Requested room change which was not possible. Had to wait 2-3 days into the trip to get somewhat workable wifi in room. Clothing iron was broken on arrival. Had to ask for warm shower water 3 times and waited almost an hour once, luckily not having any time-sensitive plans. I will give props to staff for attempting to help our issues, however no attempt made to make up for mishaps other than a 5$ breakfast, therefore making it not one of my best stays. Price was not worth the issues that occurred.

The place was clean and nice and in a courtyard off the Main Street Trastevere. Felt safe. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen functional. Bathrooms and showers were very small (cozy) and there was no furniture to sit and relax in the space (chair or couch) only stools. Soaps were provided but not maintained (2 were empty at arrival) but the owner worked to make things right. Would recommend the place for those wanting a 2 bedroom space in a great location. Trastevere is amazing and the access to the train station was great (short walk) where Roma can be easily discovered.

We booked well in advance at an agreed rate of £330 for three nights. Payment “on arrival”. Before we arrived they took £403 from my account PLUS the agreed £330!!!!! After a few days they reimbursed the £330 leaving me short of cash for the weekend break AND I was paying £73 more than we had contracted / agreed, A total CON and we were left feeling very bitter towards the hotel. Deplorable. BE WARNED! As for the accommodation…. There are three rooms in this guest house. The room we stayed in had practically zero natural light. The very small window was far too high to look out of. It was like staying in a dark poorly ventilated basement - I get clostrophobic and suffered in this cellar. If you should decide to book this place make sure to ask for the one room that has a “normal” window..

We loved our short stay here! Clean, good facilities and fantastic air conditioning. Walkable from Trastevere train station but also very walkable to the centre of Trastevere (it’s a small city, we found it all walkable!) Nice, hidden and quite away from the busy night life. We also found the local shops and cafes near by were very good and convenient! You do have to message via WhatsApp to check in, but Stefano responds quick and informative! We will be back if we need to do a short trip in Rome again and would recommend to others.

Ideal location

Idealy location short walk from station and a 10 min walk into the main area forshops bars and restaurants. Really good cafe next door for cheap breakfast. Room perfectly decorated in Roman theme, free coffee and also a bottle per person of water on arrival complimentary which was a nice touch. As it's a 10 min walk from the main area, this was ideal on an evening as we never heard any noise. Good instructions on arrival with video on how to check in. The whole experience was good. The only major downside was that the air conditioning wasnt very strong and qe stayed end of juky ao temperature was over 100 degrees. This is our only complaint. Get better AC and would give it 5 stars
