"Good location, Nice and Clean, Comfortable Bed."
Good quality hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpfull. Taxi stop next to hotel is very convenient. Taxis there tend to be easier to catch at these stops. The beds are very comfortable and makes it easy to recover from a busy day. We had a Queen bed with sitting area desk and two closets. Nice big bathroom room. Walking distance to Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Plenty of good shopping.

"Awesome boutique hotel in the middle of everything"
This hotel was really great overall. It was within a short walking distance to many of the sites (Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Villa Borghese). The metro was down the block so you could go further in a few short minutes (Colosseum, Vatican). There were multiple ATM machines a block away. There were many excellent restaurants close by. The staff was very nice and helpful in booking reservations to restaurants and showing you how to get around. Despite the restaurant/bar on the premises and Hard Rock Cafe up the block, the room was very quiet. The decor of the hotel and rooms could be described as antique elegant. Each room even had it's own doorbell. The furniture was mostly white, but very elegant and refined. We considered another hotel near Villa Borghese that seemed to have similar overall ratings, amenities, location, but what tipped us overs the free wi-fi throughout the hotel. Using FaceTime helped to save a lot of money with phone calls home and we had no issues with connectivity inside the room at all. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

NH Collection Roma Palazzo Cinquecento

Piazza Dei Cinquecento, 90, Rome - Map

"Newer, Centrally Located, Hotel"
We booked the NH Collection Roma Palazzo Cinquecento on a bundle deal with flight through Travelocity. It was absolutely as advertised. The hotel is right next to Stazione Termini, the main train and metro station in Rome. We arrived at about 12:30 p.m., and couldn't even get ten steps onto the long driveway before a bellman in a top hat took our luggage and walked it up for us. He was gone before we could even tip him! We were then greeted by two friendly faces at the front desk. While one of them checked us in (and confirmed our rate was prepaid, other than city taxes, just as Travelocity had said it would be), the other, a tremendously polite young man named Felice, pulled out a map and started marking places we should go see, and explaining how to get there. Felice then showed us up to our hotel room, which was larger than I had expected, given that this is Europe. The bed was extremely comfortable, two twins pushed together to form a king, but we couldn't notice the gap. The hotel had all the amenities, including toiletries, robes and slippers, and complimentary bottle of water and coffee. The only thing it didn't have was an alarm clock, but everyone uses their phone anymore, right? The outlets on the wall had the traditional euro plug, but the ones on either side of the bed also had USB. Every member of the staff we interacted with was polite, friendly and professional. I can't imagine staying anywhere else on our next visit to the Eternal City

We really enjoyed our stay. We did not realize it was a spa until after we arrived. The hotel staff was very competent and friendly. It was nice to be able to drop off our luggage before check-in and the lunch buffet was delicious and varied. Breakfast was also nice but a little more limited. We would stay here again.
