The staff were friendly and the airport close by. Other than that, it wasn’t a great stay for us. The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable & moved and squeaked on the bed frame with any movement. The furnishings were not retro chic but just dated & dingy. The bathroom had no window nor fan and did not smell good and had padded faux brick wall covering (think tacky padded cell). I’ve stayed in many cool old hotels and this one has potential to be that but is in need of some serious upgrades.

Very nice and convenient place to stay in portland for a few days, clean rooms and staff was friendly, and tv in the room was a bonus. Only thing I didn’t enjoy about my stay was the inconsistent water temperature and very small showers. Was very hard to just have consistent warm water in the bathroom near my room, as it was either insanely hot or insanely cold and taking a shower like that was almost impossible and very uncomfortable.

The Inn was so cute and was much better than expected. We chose a small room with a full bed and a shared bathroom . We were on the 3rd floor walk up . No elevator . We knew exactly what we were signing up for . Our room was great . The hotel layout was so quirky and we just loved all the stairs . We had a shared bathroom right across from our room yet we never saw another person using it . Nice bathroom and shower . They had coffee , tea and snacks 24/7 and a lovely continental breakfast . The parking area was small so we were given a pass to park down the block . We chose this place so we could walk to Thompson’s point for a show . It was a super easy walk . Thank you for a wonderful stay . Our only regret was we didn’t get to enjoy the hotel more since we arrived kinda late , went to a show and left early .

I thought I'd chosen a room with a private bathroom but apparently I screwed that up. It was fine as we were there for just one night but I'm glad we didn't need to use the RV-sized shower. I also didn't realize there was no elevator. I have bad knees so lugging our stuff up three flights was not ideal. Fortunately, another guest offered to bring my suitcase down for me in the morning as it was evident I was struggling. Parking is also not ideal but if you are there on a weekend, free street parking is an option as their very small lot fills up quickly. Overall, the place is nice. I just wasn't expecting the parking situation, shared bathroom, and no elevator after a very long day of traveling.
